Well, being as 10 days ago we just buried a 50 year old sister who died from cancer in her own home being cared for by her own family, I know my mileage. Brag about things you have lived through, not what you think that you would do. Put up or shut up.

i said YMMV, not that you did or did not have a close family. Read more closely next time is my suggestion. ( and no, i will not drag in private family issues in here for you as frankly its none of anyone's business )

Nah, i really didnt drag anything of my fmaily in. Just saying that someday mother will get old ( like most everyone else ) and we will handle it internally really doesnt qualify. Now if it was *today*, sure id agree with you.
Condolences? I made no comment either way on your family or what happened and remained neutral. Nice name calling tho. ( who is the child in your world again ? )

I think he has a chip on his shoulder the size of the empire state building and internalizes every comment when they dont agree with his view of the world.

I didn't mean to discount your opinion. It just seemed that it was making an argument against a statement that I never made. I also would rather engage in a conversation with you then try to chase off the trolls, you are a reasonable person. If any annoyance came across in my tone of prose, I assure you that it was not with you or your opinion, nor was there any desire to deny your opinion.
So why do you think there are those who have such strong opinions about things they haven't experienced? (now that the thread has totally derailed) Do you think those opinions have any validity? Are they really opinions, or cries for attention?

I don't refrain from talking about politics when I'm with my Democratic friends. We just have awesome, fruitful, challenging conversation.
I have lots of friends that aren't like me. I find your viewpoint strange.
