My apologies have been sent to John Stricker for the misunderstandings and trivial back-and-forth we had in the thread. He's a good man. In case I haven't made myself clear before, I do appreciate the assistance and perspectives given in this thread by all. Yes, that includes JStricker and Nurb432.

Jon and I had a nice conversation via PM and this is done. I harbor no ill will or animosity towards him and wish him only the best in his career outside the military as his life continues and good luck in selling his Fiero. We had a misunderstanding that we both let get out of control and that's all it was. It's over, done, finished. Good luck with whatever you decide to do with the car, Jon.
