What's interesting is there's so much GOP pressure for her to drop out. In retrospect, McCain should have announced his VP choice a few days before the election. Then we wouldn't have time to learn and see who she really was.

The bump he got from his choice is gone now, and the popular vote poll is swinging the other way, Rasmussen shows Obama 50% to 45%. http://www.rasmussenreports...ential_tracking_poll Gallup shows 50 to 42%: http://www.gallup.com/poll/...ins-8Point-Lead.aspx

Palin is going to get creamed at the next debate; assuming Biden can keep the foaming and ranting down to a minimum he might come out ahead.

Former GOP congressman Joe Scarborough, now a host on MSNBC television, said Palin "just seems to be out of her league" on national issues. Rich Lowry, editor of the conservative National Review magazine, called her performance "dreadful" and warned that without improvement, "she risks damaging her political brand forevermore." And conservative columnist Kathleen Parker said Palin should drop out to save "McCain, her party and the country she loves."
