Well, lately I haven't found much worth a post, sorry if I offended someone. Ha. Anyhow. I've also cut down my amount since I got flamed for some pics....heehee. Also, I have been posting a bit more in General. And the final factor, I haven't been online a whole heck of a lot lately. Work and Car Shows have been taking ALL my time...am I a dedicated girlfriend or what? (don't respond to that please.) HA!!

JUST BRING IT!

That said, most of the flamewars here seem to get started by the same people over and over. And these people all have one thing in common: that they can't seem to butt out of things that really isn't their concern. I especially love the "attention whore"-shouters. Somebody posts something which in itself is quite harmless, and somebody else walks in and finds it necessary to accuse that person of being an attention whore. Makes you wonder who the attention whore really is. The funny thing is that these people consider themselves a valuable asset to the community.
[/PERSONAL OPINION]

Just my two cents. [/B]

Well said like always Cliff

Maturity is a relative thing I guess. The younger members look @ things from a different perspective than older members(must be all those ragin hormones). Things that seem trivial to me really are important to young people, they think differently than I do now. I say let em have their emotional or fun posts, while they can and before years of life & mortgages, divorce, or whatever beats em down till they have nearly forgotten what it was like to be young. They're not hurting anything. It would be awfully dull if everyone just discussed current events or history, like I usually do.

I don't know if it's because of the "maturity level" of this section, since I can post some pretty immature things myself, but I have drastically reduced the amount of time I spend in this wing of the forum. I sometimes go 24 hours without even looking in here. Soon my conversion to the General section will be complete! It's not that I don't care or see nothing that interests me, rather it's because I don't have that kind of time available anymore, and once I start reading the Off Topic stuff I can't stop. Besides, I get much more fulfillment by involvement with directly Fiero-related issues than with personal matters. Maybe that's because I'm not good at relationship stuff. Even at my job, I talk to machines instead of people.

Enough of spilling my guts... I gotta get back to see what's going on in the General section!

hey I got an idea - since Cliff is paying for this website - howbout if CLIFF tells us when he is not happy with what is being posted here

and CLIFF can tell us if he doesnt like the level of maturity on the forum?

has it ever occurrd to you that, like most websites, the owner might LIKE to have a website that gets lots of hits everyday?

ever hear of advertising? the more hits a site gets the more you are paid?

Perhaps because CLIFF is a really nice guy who (seemingly) prefers 'ruling' with a velvet glove instead of with an iron fist? And, more importantly, the members here should already HAVE the respect for him AND his expenses, and shouldn't HAVE to be slapped down for wasting his bandwidth with posts like "I like purple Twizzlers" and useless stuff like that? That perhaps we should all be aware and considerate WITHOUT HAVING TO BE TOLD?

That's my point entirely.
