And that,/\, in a way, was why I thought about everything here, and other places, and decided that it would be ignorant not to come back and be a little more adult,..and at LEAST try to put a little more harmony in this thread. I thank you for reading all that I posted, and responding as you did. Would have been SOOOO easy for us both to either ignore each other, or just to keep on ranting. Instead, we seem to have wandered back on the same path, even if we are going in opposite directions

PS..there is too much incongruity between many peoples' concept of 'God' (ie a kind of ephemeral 'Being' that we can talk to, is how I was brought up to believe), and the concept of the power of Nature , which is intangible, and yet everywhere, at all times , and yet doesn't exist in any one form, and can't be prayed to, or asked bounty of, or special treatment, or protection etc etc. You RESPECT Nature, and you won't get hurt, if you abide by Nature's Laws . Get in her way, and she won't punish you..you will be crushed, eventually, by her omnipotent power. She has to follow her rules, and they are unswervable.Live on the side of a Volcano? One day, you will probably be swept away in a torrent of Lava. Live in the drainage bowl of a vast body of water? One day she WILL sweep you away.No matter how long we try to divert her path, we will never beat her. That is why Mother Nature is the defining power in my life..always has been since I can remember, and always will be. And to accept this belief in every place on Earth would, to ME, be the end of Human against Human strife, for ever. Forget Allah, God, Muhammed in the way we see them now, and allow them to morph into each other, and assume one identity, which is Mother Nature. We all have earth, air, water, sand trees, flowers birds etc etc...in one form or another. Let everybody appreciate that beauty, that repose, that magnitude, and than unsurmountable power.Live our lives WITH her, not in contention. Then none of us would be swept away, except the foolhardy, thoughtless and selfish.
