Possession of a firearm while intoxicated is covered under Federal firearm laws.

But that isn't what he was implying!!
He is implying that if you partake in anything, you should lose your rights.
As seen as Rande can only ASSUME what and how much someone he clearly never met, drinks or tokes or whatever.
He isn't alone, Many in my state would love to take your guns just because you can get to them while drinking, or high. just like they do with dui's. and have the keys avail to you.
no matter if you are sleeping it off, you could because you have keys drive the vehicle. same with guns, because you have the combo to the safe, they want to be able to remove your guns.
But a few here assume a bunch about others.
Without being privy to any facts.
Castro would be proud of rande

Federal and most State laws dictate no personal use of firearms while under the influence of intoxicating substances.

If you're not carrying or handling when intoxicated, no law is broken.

There are more than enough firearm regulations on the books, what is lacking is enforcement of those laws, and also Fed funding of unfunded Fed mandates. (Background checks)

Well if we are going to use broad statements for gun ownership (drinking/drug use) than I say we must also apply any hatred or opinion towards another race, religion, gender, political view, insert whatever you want, should also be considered. I am sure there are many on this forum who are firearm owners who would fall into this category, as not being fit to own a weapon. As long as you pass the established guidelines in your state or others (as I am currently going through UTAH checks) then the 2nd amendment applies to the individual, much like the 1st amendment allows us to utter what ever we wish to say, as long as it is not terroristic in nature. With this said, I do hope that what ever new laws they plan on putting into effect, do have a better ability to weed out the crazies, but alas I doubt it.

The laws are written, as stated, that you are not allowed to consume alcohol, drugs, or be intoxicated while armed in public. I follow those laws to a "T". I will not be your front page news. Ever.

We do not need more gun laws. We absolutely should be shouting from the mountain tops that laws need to be followed.

Just enjoy our fellow forum member's contributions...

The upbringing, religion, politics, environment and culture all shape the person. Each of these will have an effect on the decisions one makes, for better or worse.

As a matter of fact, much of upbringing, religion, politics and culture has that very intent. These are all meant to guide us. Those brought up in some cultures, religions or political persuasions are specifically taught to hate or destroy others.

I believe that killing each other is innate/intuitive to our species, always has been and always will be.
NOT doing it, is the thing that has to be taught and learned.

See, I knew your slimy douchiness could not resist an opportunity to put your pathetic brain on front-street for all to see.

It’s almost like you’re proud of being a moron.
Maybe that’s the very thing that makes you a moron.

Or it could simply be the result of you being the first sub-human ever born rectally, which would be amazing, considering you literally ain’t sh1t.

1. You have no idea what my abilities are.
You know, like you being too stupid to realize that you are little more then a sad embarrassment to the worthless excuse of the woman that was too brain dead to abort you.

2. You have no idea what I can or can’t control.
You know, like the way that crackhead couldn’t control the load that eventually became you.

3. Use, or abuse?
You know, like what your family must go through, realizing what an utter waste you have made their lives by your incredibly worthless existence.

To answer your question (although I doubt you retain capacity to comprehend even the most basic of concepts), The Constitution, Declaration, & Bill of Rights will tell you everything you need to know about what I think my rights should be.

And they are definitely not subject to what you think (?), believe, desire, or demand.
I’m an American.
You’re just pretending to be.

It’s called Freedom, douche bag.
Each mans God-given right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
And It’s definitely not subject to your approval.

Now go fugg yourself, snowflake.
Loser.
