It shows online as a GM Restoration part in the pic but after reading the online store add it states it clearly, I think I ordered this over the phone but it doesn't really matter. I was waiting to see what the forum came up with to finish up the deal but I was planning to offer him to sell it for a fair price and split the loss as a good will deal as I feel I didn't list it incorrectly but it would have been nice to state it was a repro. Anyway its with paypal now and It going to be all or nothing it looks like. You know if you would have stated it was a repro right up front I would have been understanding. But you talked about so many things and degraded me like I was trying to rip you off. Any way thank you all and see ya sometime, Rick if your going to Fieros at the Hall bring the wheel with you and maybe we can work it out. Thanks Vince

Thats funny I got this this morning and it states SELLER has,,, Im the buyer and you blame me and act like you were going to work it out?? Come on wiht more B.S.

True I did but only after you started the Paypal dispute. Vince

I'm sorry, but this is pathetic. You paid for, and got, an almost new Fiero steering wheel, exactly as the ad says.

What you wanted was a NOS steering wheel.

Like he says, "It's almost brand new" , as in literally brand new. Not like-new original. It's also not a restoration, from the FieroStore ad - "completely new steering wheel will bolt directly to the factory hub of any GT or SE Fiero"

So it is in fact a "almost new light saddle color steering wheel for a Fiero GT"

I probably would be disappointed as well if I was looking for a factory original, but be more frustrated by the fact I didn't take the time to ask the seller or do research before hand. I would have to side with the seller on this one, his description is accurate, you failed to confirm with him that it was what you thought it was.

If I was him I would up the dispute as well, he doesn't have to deal directly with you anymore and I would imagine PayPal would find his description to be accurate based on the available information.

Anyway are you going to be at the Fiero show this weekend or not as I will look for you otherwise I wont waste my time. See all who will be there and drive safe no bad luck awards this time around... Vince

I met Vince at the Auburn show and he seemed to be a stand up guy and and was willing to answer anything about his car. The ad was not misleading in anyway. Always ask questions before buying. As for SCV6 I have seen you get your panties in a bunch before over stupid things and if you have nothing better to do then complain about a steering wheel. I think you need to get a life.
SuperchargedV6 JUL 20, 06:36 PM
The dispute I started is a 20 day period for you seller and buyer to email and get it straight on record. I want to make sure those who are not familiar wiht it know. I am betting the seller knows how to use it as I had to read into it first.
This way there is not bull about it. He decided to refuse and raise it to a Full Blown Claim not me. Don't put it on me that I got Pay Pal involed as they had nothing to do wiht it yet nor would they until 20 days were up unless in this case The seller raised it to full blown.

Now that is not trying to get it staright then come here and state you were willing to work it out.

That is cut and dry not made up nor assumed. Rick

Yes you did start it with Paypal first. I stated I would let the forum members vote and settle up with you, but you had to take it to paypal, I just raised the level as we are getting nothing fixed just a lot of bashing members. You want it all your way and now you have it, what Paypal comes up with is the end. I dont want to hear anymore about it. You made a mistake and are not big enough to eat your lima beans. I have also learned a lesson too and will work on that but the truth is you got what was listed nothing more or less. You didnt state if your going to the show or not but I think its to late as Paypal is in this anyway. Bye all see ya at the show.

Why don't you simply have the steering wheel dyed all the same color?
SuperchargedV6 JUL 20, 07:37 PM
It is only the stiching that is black and being black it can not be dyed tan. Also this is a finger grooved wheel with the big bumps all the way around. I have never seen a Fiero like that, hence not a Fiero wheel. Rick

Since this is in Paypal's hands now, I suggest you both cease any more contact with each other on this matter and let Paypal resolve it. Let's see who they think is in the right and I'm betting it won't be SCV6.
Edit: So now SCV6 you are stating that this isn't even a Fiero steering wheel because you have never seen one like it? As I stated before, you are going to find little or no sympathy here because you are wrong.
