I thought it was about how long you had to wait in the drive-thru? Would the wait have been less bothersome had it been some 90 lb vegan waiting for a special order veggie burger?
For someone who says "NO WAITING AT THE DRIVE THREW FOR 10 MIN. WITH JUST ONE CAR IN FRONT OF ME WAS VERY TRAMTIC," you sure do seem preoccupied with how much they weigh and how much they eat.

One thing obiesity does do is it drives the medical / pharmaceutical industry. diabetes, heart disease, liver problems due to massive quantities of perscribed (controlled) drugs.

I was.
It seems as though everyone else here read it as that so I might as well go along with them.
I really didn’t care what they ordered, just that it took so long.
It is really about people not being considerate. Why were they so lazy that they could not have gotten out of the dam car.
Had I known they were going to order enough food to feed a football team I would have gone in myself.
PS
If you really did read the first post Red88FF you would have read that I went for a chocolate shake, 1 for my daughter, nothing else and that’s all I got.------------------ Technology is great when it works, and one big pain in the ass when it doesn't. Detroit iron rules all the rest are just toys.

I am 48, 5'10", 175 lbs. I wear a size 30 waist. In high school I wore a 29 waist. Also, weight has ties to heredity. Some families are big boned. My wife is over weight. Heh...fat. By no means lazy though. She still needs to exercise, she makes excuses. She tries every diet but does not couple them with exercise. Some of the diets America use, Jenny Craig, etc, have a caloric intake less than what prisoners of war had. They are starvation diets. They do not give enough energy for a workout/exercise. No wonder so many fail to lose weight on diets. Really, all one has to do, I would think, is to follow the guidelines and recomendations of the Presidential Fittness Council. All my life I have had super model type girlfriends. Thin, long legged, stacked, built. With energetic personalities. Hiking, skiing, etc. Had I not been able to see my wife other than her weight, I would have missed out on the most wonderful and beautiful woman in the world. Even though she does use drive thrus. Speaking of drive thrus. It is quicker to park the vehicle and go inside, 9 out of 10 times, no matter what.

I feel bad for these people with a true illness, where-as I do not feel bad for gluttons who eat at will and just are lazy to no end. But please don't categorize everyone who's fat into there realm. It's simply just not true. |

I agree with you. It is about the attitude of any person, not the physical aspects. I have a little gut myself from college food and a non physical job, but I am working to cut it down. I have a friend who's family is big, it is in their genetics. This kid puts any "healthy eating diet and exercise" regimen I have put myself on to shame everyday since I have known him (6 years or so) but he is still about 280 and my height.
I also find it hilarious how people will order fast food with diet soda...are Americans really that stupid? (don't answer that)
