This guy has what too many people lack... common sense!

We've had close to the same number of illegal aliens in our country as Canada has citizens. Don't try governmentin' on this scale.

If this happened in any other country, think of how you would respond.

Actually, I've 'seen' (via the news) of it happening in so many different countries, so often and so many different times, I scarcely give it a 2nd thought any more.
In my lifetime, globally, there have been over 300 coup attempts and successes, both in favor of and against democracies.

Prior to that, many hundreds or even thousands.
(I take a very long and wide view of the world and we are now, just a speck of dust at a little speck of time)

Seen fist fights in one of the British houses, Japan's and India's between the representatives.

Patriots (and possibly a few disguised Antifa to cause trouble) made a statement today to the people who refuse to listen to the majority of Americans for the past 30+ years and your response is to tell them to get back under their desk and wait for the boom, because muh Capitol.

Your warm statements regarding what happened today is the implication. I don’t need to allude a damn thing.pretty ****ing cut and dry.

What was the message? You tout this **** like something was accomplished today but NOTHING was. A message was sent? Your Senators will likely have alienated the cause by the end of the evening. What a ****ing strong message this was.

Not my Capitol. Our Capitol. Having spoken with you though I’m certainly disappointed I have to share it with you. Understand if the feeling is mutual.

And that has what exactly to do with GOP Congressman Mike Gallagher's thoughful comments?

Of course you feel that way. You're a narcissist. I'm a Paleoconservative. I hate the DC Republican sellouts and hope they perish so a real alternative can arise.

You have your own country to worry about. Do we need more outside influence?

Fair to have your nuanced opinion on global politics. It’s for the sake of comparison, not discussion.

Having said that, if you are comfortable considering these thought processes or use them to avoid denouncing what happened today then that’s your prerogative, and I absolutely do not agree with it. I say that with all due respect to you. I don’t know you personally, but as a young teenager I certainly read your posts growing up here on various topics.

If you’re not embracing it then I’m not concerned, and ultimately that does not matter regardless. What happened today though, is detestable. There is no cost benefit to analyze here that is even mildly pessimistic. This is disgusting.

As much as I'm flattered by your admission of my "influence", I'm afraid that you'll need to continue seeing posts from "outside"... whether that be from Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, wherever.

I’m a centrist.

I’ll elaborate. You ever read the quote, “With my family I’m a socialist, with my neighbor a communist, with my city I’m a democrat, with my state a republican, and with my nation a libertarian”

Kids want Mac & cheese for dinner? We’re all eating Mac & cheese. Neighbor is interested in replacing our decrepit fence and going in together? Yes. We want to replace trap houses in our town with new parks or museums? **** yeah, let’s talk about doing it. State wants to increase my taxes? Definitely not. Going to war with Iran? Piss off.

Keep putting words in my mouth or imagining the type of person I need to be to make your argument more compelling. I can just point to your statements. You continually make it easy to do so.

Oh, also **** off
