That's true. RFT is a great V8 hater haven. You get to talk smack all day long and even get a cheering section. That's one of the main functions of that forum.
But when it comes time to throw the gauntlet down and make a challenge you have no intention of backing up - you come running back here.
It must have been really awesome after you made such a manly challenge to brag about how you showed up all the V8 owners.... until someone accepted your challenge.

It's not so much that people want to neg anyone who says anything bad about Archie - it's that were sick of the trolls. I've been here for 7 years and it's always the same thing. Some people don't like Archie's swaps, so they talk trash, on and on and on and on. The get banned. Then come back with a new user name and start talking more trash.
A lot of people here have a low tolerance for it because we're fed up with it. Your very first post was complaining about Archie, so you're immediately suspect as being a returning troll. Even forgetting that for the moment, it is terribly naive to sign up on a forum and immediately bash one of it's vendors and not expect some kind of backlash.
We do have a desire to neg anyone who appears to be a troll - and most of the trolls here go after Archie.

Not to bring up the past, but how the hell is a new guy supposed to know this walking in here blind off the street ? I'm going on 3 months here mostly lurking due to my first posts and the outcome that constantly follows me.
Now that I've learned a bit about forums in general (and this one) I've got a better understanding of where you guys are coming from. It's like you all went through war or something !! But maybe an introduction with a little history would help a new guy. This whole experience might even be an opportunity to help make your forum better using people like me as an example (a good one for once). I simply didn't know. And when I started getting slammed I slammed back.
Oh well the past is past. Just don't roll me in with the guys you hate okay ? It's over. Personally this screen color is easier on these old eyes of mine than the RFT background.
Oh and thanks jscott, you're a great guy for saying that. I hope others can give me a second chance too. Love your build thread by the way.

I took you up on the challenge, filled in the open criteria by naming the amount of wager, location of race & when it was to take place.

When you made your 1st post under this screen name you said that you were new to the forum & had never posted to the forum before.
Within a week, it was documented that you had been on this Forum under 2 previous screen names & both of those had been banned by the ratings system.
You lied in the 1st sentence of your 1st post under this screen name, that's where you got those Red ones.
You claim that you didn't know about the rating system, when in reality you've likely got more experience with the rating system than most people do.
My suggestion, quit crying about it (you reap what you sow), suck it up & wait it out.

Nobody over there ever insulted my V-8 fiero. Most of the V-8 hating is directed to certain people with inflated hp claims. If you claim that your fiero makes 420hp, prepare to back it up. If it fails to make that amount of power on a dyno, you deserve to get razzed about your false claims. If you claim 400hp and don't care to dyno your car to prove it, you are just a poser. That's the way MOST forums work. 95% of people on this forum believe hp claims with little to no proof. Its a V-8, it has to make the claimed hp...
How come these topics keep comming up? Its the exact same argument made by the same people every time...------------------
