Ever see a picture of Buddha?
The Venus of Willendorf is a statue of an obese woman dating back to about 24,000 to 22,000 BCE.[This message has been edited by Formula88 (edited 05-27-2007).]

Ther have always been fat people. Actually being overweight used to be a sign of prosperity. Look at some of the older paintings or statues (not all of course) and you will see overweight women as subjects. Scrawny women only became the more desirable shape when the gay fashion designers used subjects that resembled little boys.
Sure there are fat people that are simply fat because of intake vs. energy expended, there are also fat people that have no control over their weight due to medical issues. If somebody chooses physical pleasure from eating over some other method of satisfaction (like say a gay act, heh) what the hell is it too you? So F'ing what.
Don't like fat women, keep your dick in your pants. There is really no reason that I can see to belittle somebody about ther appearance.
Maybe one of those fat chicks was my Mom. Really nice to know there might be some pathetic ahole like 84fiero123 looking at here with contempt and distain for wanting to eat some food.

People do realize some people have extremely screwed up thyroids and vitrually have no metabolism? The less you eat the more the body stores. It's not as simple as "don't eat" for some people. It becomes a daily routine of intense cardio workouts and calorie counting.
I feel bad for these people with a true illness, where-as I do not feel bad for gluttons who eat at will and just are lazy to no end. But please don't categorize everyone who's fat into there realm. It's simply just not true.

What is the next physical attribute that you are going to find offensive? maybe skin color? Man those *&%$# ____ ______ made ME wait.
Guess what, if given a choice I am sure the fast food place would rather have the ladies in the van as customers than you.
Maybe the whole world should change just to suite you.
YOU are an ignorant stupid prejudice prick. THE TITLE OF THIS THREAD says it all no matter how you try and back pedal and spin it.

OK
5’ 8” tall 160 lbs. I was up to 165 but have lost some. Originally I weighed in at 145 to 150, all muscle.
And I have gained weight since my stroke, I also have worked construction for the last 15 years before the stroke 2 ½ years ago.
I really don’t care if I hurt your feelings, sounds like you are a little sensitive about your weight.
I realize some people have no control over their weight because of medical problems.
That was not what this was about, it was about 3 women who weighed in at over 300 lbs each and bought enough food to feed an entire football team, first and second string.
And they went to a drive threw to get the food, rather than walk in.

in societies where people routinely go hungry, fat is a sign of status. here we have a society where just about everyone has enough to eat (quality and poor food choices is another issue). it's like tanning and working out. fitness issues aside, when everyone worked outdoors, it was a sign of status to be pale and pudgy. now that most of us work at machines inside, muscles and a tan are indications of leisure time.
as for the current models, i think it's more a matter of youth culture. men generally want young or young-looking fit women (roger? yellowstone?).
i once knew a bill collector who said "fat people are acquisitive" and i think in general there's some truth to that. my mom is overweight and a packrat. my friend cindy is obese and lives in a self-made pigsty. i'm frankly kind of horrified, but nevertheless, theyre decent people and deserving of respect for their humanity.
