I am pretty sure the judges would have known who many of the car owners were. The cars were driven up by their owners after all so how could you not know some of them, especially that many owners chatted with the judges while they were judging the car so it would be fair to say that they knew who many of the owners actually were. Besides, who met with these people and hired them to judge? Wouldn't it have been some of the club members who worked on the show?
Whether that created any favoritism or a conflict of interest is something only those possibly in the know could address of course.

It was mentioned many times that when you drove up with your Fiero that your windows had to be up, your t-tops in if you had them and your convertable top up if you had one. I noticed very few that actually did that as I saw a bunch of Fieros with the windows down while being judged and thought that was a bit odd that it wasn't enforced.

Smoooooth, you asked if Bob's car being in the show what a conflict?? I said "no" because of the "indepentant hired-in judges" Had MFC & CFOGi judged the show, I would have said "yes", their cars should have been on display only... So can we quit bickering!!?? (points to others in thread) you ask a good question that was answered well but argued to death.."let's move on to better things huh?"

it shouldnt be a conflict of interest cause it shouldnt interest you. its not like your car was up against robert holtz. why do you care? relax man

I'd have to ask Bob & the rest how much you paid them to be able to say that. Your head is so far up Bob's ass I'm sure you could see out his nostrils. Smoooooth had it right.........your as two-faced & phony as a 3 dollar bill.
