Dude, did you say "funnest"? OK, grammar aside, the most fun car I ever had the pleasure of driving was a buddy's tricked out Buick T-Type. 4.1 L block, very large turbo and intercooler setup, motor work, etc., etc. Low 11's and street legal all day long. We had great fun street racing that thing when we were young and foolish. I also got to drive a Lotus Elise while in the U.K. Kind of like driving a go kart on the street. Very neat car. My V8 Fiero is also a grin a mile, and I'd consider that one the best because I OWN it! Hartz ------------------ '84 SC 5.7L V8 '85 SE 3.1L V6 Turbo Hartz's Toys

Oh yea, anothe turbo car I drove was an '89 Daytona Turbo 2 "Shelby" edition. That is the only manual tranny turbo car I have ever driven. Damn it was fun! ------------------ 1986 Fiero 2M4 MODIFIED

Absolutely. Doesn't matter WHO you are...you obviously have a problem with me with no apparent causation, and spout baseless accusations without knowing ANYTHING about me. Enough is enough. [This message has been edited by TRiAD (edited 04-17-2002).]

I dont think theres a single McLaren F1 in the US. There not going to let them crash test a million dollar per copy car. I could be wrong.

Roger, to be exact, there are currently 5 McLaren F1 GTRs in the US (that I'm aware of). A company called "Ameritech" (not the telecomm conglomerate) imported them, and yes, they crashed one. I thought you of all people here would know that. The one I was working a deal on was serial #0069. It is in the Chicago area, and is the only one in the US with the LM-style chin spoiler and rear wing on it. It was offered at $1.6M, with the fitted luggage, and I was able to take a serious $1.1M offer to the seller.

I saw a Mclaren F1 in Toronto last year downtown. Apperently belonged to Calvin Klien. According to road and track he has 2 of them , both have the jesus fish on the back. I have some pictures , couldn't get near it as it was behind a barb wire fence in a private lot. Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) has 3 I believe, he got rear ended in one last year , apperently he gout out and did a little dance , told the person who hit him not to worry , it's just money!!) JM
