The lack of concern in this short thread is disassociating. The Capitol building of one of the world's leading democracies and major world superpowers was breached by an armed militia refusing to accept the result of a free election in hopes of keeping the losing candidate in power leading to the evacuation of a sitting legislative body currently certifying the results of said election. Ignore your political thoughts for a second, I’m sure you have some right now.
If this happened in any other country, think of how you would respond. How the US would respond. Step back for a moment from your perspective as a party member and in the shoes of a historian... Something incredibly dangerous is happening right now for the preservation of our governing system, regardless of your personal affection for or repulsion by the specific leader of the executive branch and his political affiliation. This is the stuff we set up watch groups for in fragile nations. This isn't about which group gets to hold signs in a public park or march down a street or graffiti a wall. This is about a successful act of impeding the work of a bicameral bipartisan legislature to uphold a representative democracy.
That's the terribly fragile system at risk here (and in many places elsewhere around the globe). I don’t care about your politics, with all due respect. Not even going to bother entertaining a conversation in that regard. A woman died tonight. SUREY we can agree this is not about voices being unheard but about something we all believe in being violated and threatened. |

Or if the parties in power were reversed, they would be singing a different tune.. If Obama or Biden or any other democrat was president, and they incited their supporters like Trump did today, they would be calling them terrorists and traitors..

Obama was the master at inciting Blacks to riot, to the point of murdering Whites in Dallas at a BLM rally while screaming I hate White people.[This message has been edited by sourmash (edited 01-06-2021).]

No, I was at the junkyard all afternoon.
You don't have to be ashamed you played no part in taking back your Capitol building. The dead woman had the stones to do it for both of us. |

I’m not surprised you believe I’m referring to your personal time. You piped up & agreed with what happened here. If you believe trying to deflect like this is clever it’s not.
I’m not ashamed at all for not being involved with this. I wouldn’t touch this **** with a ten foot pole like you embrace it.

But that’s not what happened, is it?
Keep yourself occupied with whatever you need to sleep well at night. History will look poorly upon this event & those who support it.[This message has been edited by Bradley Jay (edited 01-06-2021).]

I'm not surprised you aren't content in blaming your failings on someone else after directly charging me for what you failed to do yourself. I'm ashamed for you.

This is a gross mental gymnastic you’re performing here and it is depressingly common in this forum.

Projecting on others isn't working for you. Got another trick that might?

The woman who sacrificed herself for the cause is a hero. Patriots and supporters around the world will donate to her family and her memory.[This message has been edited by sourmash (edited 01-06-2021).]

You're way over your head and can't touch bottom in your attempts to implicate me. Clear enough?
Patriots (and possibly a few disguised Antifa to cause trouble) made a statement today to the people who refuse to listen to the majority of Americans for the past 30+ years and your response is to tell them to get back under their desk and wait for the boom, because muh Capitol.
