I agree, that was rather strange I thought.. also very inefficient. it was crowded enough as it was, nevermind having a large number of cars driving from one end to the other. ------------------ steve@digitalfusion.on.ca "Whoever said money can't buy happiness.. didn't have much of an imagination." - Steve King, 1997

I wasn't there... don't care anything at all about any of this... My only comment here is that I hope Pontiac is not watching the forum, as was earlier thought. It would be a shame to take the biggest event in Fiero history, which could really make GM rethink their decisions about Fieros, and have it marred by a bunch of arguing over "my car should have gotten a trophy instead of yours". Why does this kind of crap have to happen after every Fiero show? ------------------

Some mistakes were made, but that's life. PURPLE, you ran your car hard and it broke, that's life. PURPLE - I spoke with you at the show and gave you complements on your car. You seemed like a nice enough guy. My comments to you are based on your wining, not your work or your car. The purpose of judging is for trophy award... period. If you don't care for trophys, then SHUT THE HELL UP. Your car was in the paper... good for you. Have it framed and stick a blue ribbon on it if it makes you feel better. MINNGREEN - Thanks for the complements but these crybabies just make my skin crawl. Hear's what you guys sound like: BOO HOO. I didn't win so I'm going to make everyone else as miserable as I am.... You STILL dont seem to get it ?????? Everyone here has the same agreement issues and that is not over a piece of crap plastic. It's about poor judging ( and not judging at all ) and the BIG fact that the RULES ( which CFOGI cant come up with ) kept changing as minutes passed by. It's as if everyone was told a different set of rules and when we all got there not only did they change but cant back it up in writing. Eric, Rob, Matthew, Kevin, Jason, Ron, Fiero5, and MANY others say the same thing. Pull your head out..................

I don't post much here as you can tell, but I can't let this one go. The judging was VERY inconsistent and therefore, unfair. The real problem lies with the promoters of the event - MFC & CFOGI. This is the second consecutive year that I have seen judging problems at a MFC show. It's too bad that they allowed judging problems to taint an otherwise outstanding event. I say the results would have been different had the participates decided "Fiero excellence". I do not have to tolerate and will not tolerate such incompetence in the future. I will never attend another Michigan Fiero Club sponsored event! There are just too many other events to attend where Fiero people and their Fieros are appreciated.

READ THE EARLIER POSTS.....DUMBA$$ I;m tired of repeating myself..............IT"S NOT ABOUT WHO GOT A TROPHY !!!!!! it's not about GM, the Fiero, the greatest Fiero show ever. It's about a select individual or a few who couldnt find thier ass with both hands and a flashlight or make a decision if thier life depended on it, or admit they screwed up. If you werent there you know even less and should SHUT THE HELL UP

Pssst. Shawn. Loose the name-calling... It's only hurting your cause.| | | quote | | Originally posted by Fiero5: Was that announced at some point and I just missed it? I didn't see them when leaving the banquet (not everyone left the same way), as I only saw the photos of our cars that were taken after we left the judging lanes left out to be claimed. Are these judging sheets still available to get if I provide someone with my registration number? |
|
There was an announcement made, but I was already almost out the back doors when I heard it. I had to come back about 5-10 minutes later and get it... you'd have to contact MFC to see if they still have the remaining judging sheets. [This message has been edited by MinnGreenGT (edited 07-22-2003).]
