Chester, I seriously think you have some of what i said confused with what FieroJones was saying. Yes, I DID read what you said. You're not out in left field at all on this one. I think i'm not getting my point acrossed because thus far you haven't said anything i don't agree with. So i guess your opinion does kind of match mine. I think if you read my post again you'll notice i said "I luv to read about .... someone needs some support getting through a tough time..." I have no problems with people posting their problems, hell we all do that.

My MAIN point was people/girls on the forum trying to get attention by posting 18 trillion pointless pics of themselves. Starting threads of "here's some pics of..me" "validate my self worth and tell me how great i look," "hey, y isn't everyone drooling over me?" "Y did so-and-so say i'm not god's gift to man?" Or whining about a bunch of crap that just plain happens to everyone in the course of everyday life (as was previously stated by someone else).

Does that explain my point a little bit better?

Holly, thats not why I did it. I wanted to see how the quality was on the photos. then you all turned it into some big deal I could really give a sh!t less what you all think of me. I don't need to be validated by you people whom I don't know. Your opinions don't honestly matter one bit to me... and also I posted that thread as a bit of a joke and no one seems to see that

You got that right, NO ONE sees you posting that as a joke. You seemed to take it pretty serious when Smoooth asked ya for the link. now HE was joking.

You must care a little bit about what i said, enough to reply and enough to even read into it enough to realize i was referring to you.

Shes new here, so she cant post her opinion of things? WHEW... Thank god I registered with my other name WAY back in 99. Does that mean that I can speak my opinion? Would you please educate me on the deadline of when you get to post an opinion, or an observation, and as to how long you must "sit back and observe" to get out of the "new" status?

And from what I could tell, She wasnt bashing, just referring that she is also tired of the posts that are in question.

As to all the posts on here that are just whining:

Grow up. Find something TANGABLE, other then the Internet to base your self worth on. Someone breaks up with you. Wah. Get over it. Something else thats pretty trivial happens? Wah x2. Sh*t happens.

No-one said life was easy.

My favorite show right now, is that "American Idols" show. Now why do I like it? Because the guy from England (I think) tells it like it is. He tells people to grow up. Tells them they need to quit deluding themselves. Tells them to find something else, cuz they aint doin good at what they're tryin.

Ok, well yes, you have clarified things a little and I'm glad to see that I'm not totally confused here . But even with the later, the pics, the "oh, look at me" yada, yada. So what? Post some pics of yourself if you want. I've posted pics of myself as well. Is it annoying? Only if YOU let it be. Get my point? To be honest, I got on this forum to read about Fiero's and like I mentioned before, I rarely come to this section of the forum cause I know that there is a LOT of BS to weed thru. But then I expect it cause it is the "Totally off topic" section. Should these topics been posted in the "General Fiero Chat" or Tech" sections, then I could understand your gripe, but here I don't.

I think I almost explained everything. About people posting pics of themselves, it ONLY bothers me when people are doing it for attention. There was a thread once of everyone posting their pics, so we could see the face behind the name and the car. THAT was awesome. Wish that post would come up again actually. Just bugs me when people have post after post of, LOOK AT ME. That's all.
