Ok, that's funny right there.

Show me where I bashed Archie in this thread. Please.
Personally I'm a little sick of the "Us vs Them" mentality that prevails whenever a discussion comes up, and I find that Archie has been one of the worst on PFF when it comes to namecalling and diverting the issue. I've stayed out of this thread, my only comment was wehen Archie made a claim that threads on RFT were deleted for his benefit. Since I am the moderator that archived those threads, I thought it might be important enough to clarify if he thought it was important enough to bring up. Sorry Archie.

Mr. Moderator can you please retrive those wonderful archive threads from your forum? You know, these two:

I'd like to compare those previous comments to this picture

Why? What does 800 pounds of fiberglass have to do with dyno results and lying about engine swaps?
Congratulations on the trophy. I hope you now have the acknowledgement and acceptance from your peers that you were seeking.

I'm guessing you're 800 pound factual statements and trophy comment is 100% correct, right?

Wow! Choptops, suicide doors and cramming an SBC V8 into anything that moves?! No one in automotive history has ever done any of that before! You're a real pioneer!
I'm still waiting for you to explain what convoluted thought process led you to the conclusion that it would make you look better to OVERstate the engine size and subesequent performance than to UNDERstate it. Tell us its a 305 and it looks like you improved on it. Tell us its a 377 and it looks like you can't build a properly working motor.

E) How many broken transmissions have I heard about (from all sources) over the last 19 years.... maybe 25
D) So for grins & giggles let's double it & call it 50 ........
E) That works out to a failure rate of 2.5%.......
F) That's not too bad for a 20 year old transmission some of which have been hooked up to a SBC for much of that 20 years..... & many of which have 150K+ miles when they're swapped to SBC.
G) I'd venture to guess that a failure rate of only 2.5% would be as good or better than many of these built up automatics you guys are always talkin about.
Now some of you guys keep saying that they can't handle the power, but you don't have any data to support that opinion. You keep wanting Dyno charts & Time Slips maybe you can provide some data to support your claims.
Yeah, I agree overall automatics are faster in the 1/4 mile. But life is not the 1/4 mile & sports cars are supposed to be sticks. Sports cars with automatics are boring to me.
When I built my 1st V-8 Fiero, I wanted Sports Car handling & a Muscle Car power to weight ratio.
So if you have some real data to support your claims, then let's see it. Otherwise put a cork in it.

That don't make a lick of sense in light of the fact that its been shown time and time again that most of your customers are putting 250hp motors against the transmissions. What people have been saying is that the FWD transmissions can't handle serious power. How many transmissions has Tina blown apart? All you've proven is that these trannys can hold a little more power than they were rated for, not the power of a serious built V8. In fact, its been shown that they can't hold built V8 power reliably.

Wha? You're losing me. Do I know how much your car now weighs? Nope. I'm curious as hell, though. I'll bet my boots it isn't lighter then 3500 lbs. The trophy comment? That I congratulated you on winning a trophy? Yep, I'm 100% sure I posted that.

Wrong answer. Wrong weight, wrong person, and the wrong car owner.
