While avengador1 is the recent, maybe worst, for copyright problems... He's not only one. Copy/paste news and others items has been a problem in TO/T since it was started. Search Archive TO/T... Myself and others tried to stop posters from parroting news sites etc. Some got it but we gave up long ago...

Right after I moved this thread to the Trash Can (at 3am) my internet connection crapped out so I wasn't able to follow up on this earlier.
I've put both Neptune and Avengador1 on probation. Neptune's remarks to "kill him" is actually cause for an immediate ban and I'm very tempted to do so but I will give him the chance to edit his message once his probation is lifted (if he doesn't edit his message - then I have no other choice than to permanently ban him from PFF). Avengador posted Neptune's full personal information which is also cause for an immediate ban but he edited that out shortly after he posted it.
That said, I would also like to add that the both of you should stop acting like a bunch of whiny little girls.

Probation?! You are getting soft in your advanced years. Ban them bishes. Let them walk the wastelands for a few years and make them register new user id if they want to come back. It really isn't fair to others that you have banned to treat these offenders differently.

Their egregious infractions notwithstanding, I consider both to be valuable contributors. I would hate to loose either one.

Can't remember I actually banned someone in the past few years. I think the last one was 84Bill? And he specifically asked for it. Not as in "asked for it by his actions" but literally asked me to ban him. I think he even added "please" to that request.
Besides, AFAIC, this is strike one for both of them. If they keep this up I will ban them.
