Ugh. Some people and their ideas about welfare. (Page 3/9)

Schools only teach what is permitted, anything other than what is permitted will be brought up to the board. Classic democracy in action.

It's not what they officially "teach." It's the ideals and concepts that teachers are able to foist upon the kids they have "control over" in the classroom. And don't be so sure about that "democracy" in action regarding what they are allowed to teach. Seems to me there is a lot of sex ed and other things being pushed on kids and courts upholding it despite parental complaints.

Then let their genetics die out.

Its what they leave out, not so much what they teach, that is tearing this country apart one family at a time.

People like that give liberals a bad name. There is a difference between having liberal views and being a dirt bag. (I'm sure somebody will argue that point )

If you don't generate anything, don't make a product, provide a service, etc how do you expect to receive money? Sure, I'd love to stay home and raise my kids too, but what service am I providing? They are my kids. I don't expect anyone to pay for my dog's food, or my house, why would my kids count?

Maybe, because she is such an excellent mother and all, she can find a financial backer to pay her for raising her kids. Due to her superb parenting skills her children will grow up to be successful and rich and then they can reimburse the backer?

Using your definition, there are a bunch of dirt bags out there. I suspect we'll all be paying for them and more before we go broke.

Wait, who's gonna be paying us then? There won't be very many left. Ah yes, re-distribute the wealth, I forgot.

I have no problem with her staying home to raise the kids all day...

Get a job working nights. Simple.

Welfare desperately needs reform. There should be a 'poor house' available for those in need; but it should be very strict and regimented; checking in to receive assistance should mean giving up a lot of liberties. That would both reduce the cost burden on the tax base, and provide motivation for recipients to want to check out. There is nothing in the current system that encourages anything but further irresponsibility; and we wonder why welfare becomes a family tradition... dumb. And wasteful.

The problem is that because there are so many of these people (and they generally vote Dem), the Democrats have become associated with being the party of the freeloaders. And because of their numbers, they have become such a crucial part of the electorate. So in order to keep their votes, the Dems have no choice but to appease them.

Sadly, many Republicans are now chasing the vote of the freeloaders as well. The Dems do it better simply because they have more history and experience with it.

We need a new category called "WTF"

Just how beneficial does anyone think her kids are going to be to society with her as an example?
