Palin's Executive Experience (Page 3/8)
aceman SEP 28, 11:13 AM
You really get uptight when someone bags and discards your bullshit.

I have no desire to list Obama's "executive experience" or lack thereof and I have no desire to list McCain's "executive experience" or lack thereof.

I did have a desire to expose the bullshit that your post was filled with.

So keep up your posts, Todd. Please do a fact check before you spew anymore BS, though. You can take or leave that advice.

How about Kennedy?

He was a 2 term Congressman, a 1 term Senator, a VP candidate, and a Navy Commander. I'd say there is plenty of experience in there somewhere.

Obama has 143 days in the Senate and did nothing at all in those 143 days. WHERE is the experience to be President?

I guess that is the closest you will ever get to an "Ooops, my bad" post so I'll take it.

Stay on topic, guys.

So being a CEO of say WaMu or say Enron is good "executive experience" to be President?

So being a Secretary of Commerce is good "executive experience" to be President?

So being a Vice President for a year or two and presiding over a possible tie-breaker in the Senate is good "executive experience".

So being a General of the Army is good "executive experience" to help propose a budget for the country and work on domestic policies?

PLEASE! I want to hear some more BS, Todd.

I am. I'm trying to get an answer to the question of Obama's experience and all I get is James Garfield!

Palin has executive experience. There really isn't mroe to say on that point. Business owner, Mayor, Governor. Pretty much covers it.
Formula88 SEP 28, 11:22 AM
Take it somewhere else, please.

If you want to talk about previous president's experience coming from a governorship vs. other jobs, fine. But if you two just want to argue with each other, get a room.

Where did I say this"?

So being a Secretary of Commerce is good "executive experience" to be President?

Did I, or did I NOT JUST point out that it was NOT good experience and look what happened to Hoover who was a COMMUNITY ORGANIZER before he became Secretry of Commerce and he was a failed one term president. WOW, THANKS FOR THAT GLOWING EXAMPLE OF WHY I SHOULD VOTE FOR OBAMA! The last Community Organizer to become President led us into the Great Depression....GOOD EXAMPLE GENIUS!

And sitting in on cabinet meetings for 4 years, visiting foreign nations to negotiate trade deals and military contracts and form alliances....Uh, I'm going to go with, YEAH!

3 words fool, COMMANDER IN CHIEF! A general has to manage BILLIONS OF DOLLARS worth of resources, supply lines, morale, strategic planning, mail service, oil changes, hospitals, prisons, military police, fire brigades, entertainment, libraries, clean laundry, yada yada yada

Is any of this sinking in brain bone?

But Todd, you said we had to go all the waaaay back to Washington before we could see someone without "excecutive experience" I pointed out FIVE presidents without "executive experience" and a few more Generals and a Secretary of Commerce (which is, under your definition "executive experience"

I wanted to point out your utter BULLSHIT in your post. (AND I DID)

Why? Because I get tired of BULLSHIT getting in the way of FACTS in these threads. Do a frikken fact check first!

Good Day, Mr Starving Bullshit Artist.

SHOW ME THE QUOTE! I said "running for President with ZERO experience".

Misquoting me is a pretty lame and desperate attempt to make your point but it won't work because unlike you, I actually use the QUOTE box so all the world can see your own words unchanged! I'd ask you to so the same but, well you're too dumb or too desperate to know how to do it I guess.

NO you didn't. Are you drunk? You pointed out several presidents you thought (I use the term loosely) had no executive experience and I pointed out your boner. Now you are backpeddling throwing names on the wall hoping desperately that something will stick.

It won't.
