If you like to speak your mind and not worry about getting negative ratings, join RFT. If you want to sensor what you say and feel about certain members and want to fit in with the crowd, stick to PFF.

I like both forums, but I generally hang out more on RFT. Younger group that I can identify with. I don't always watch what I say, hense the negative ratings.

There's nothing wrong with speaking your mind, making a joke, or calling someone on their bullisht, but when someone starts thread after thread, making derogatory and racist comments for no reason whatsoever, I say that person has serious mental issues. I joined RFT after getting tired of Shaun trashing my car for no reason, and the majority of RFT agreed with me, that Shaun was being immature. I haven't tried to log in lately but last time I tried my account didn't seem to be there anymore.

If RFT wants any real respect then the "RFT vs. teh World" section would disappear. That whole section is mostly Shaun and his close associates trashing Archie and anyone who did business with Archie.

I finally got around after a few invites to looking at RFT. Some of it is not too bad, and there's a HEAVY influence of hatred for this forum. I did not join RFT because I am already here. But I guess if I dare say another bad thing about Archie I'll be there by association. LOL.... I regularly get accused of being one of these "trolls" or RFT people but it doesn't bother me much anymore.

It does seem that more new people come here because as a new person speaking, I would be far more intimidated by RFT and there seems to be a smarter O.T. crowd here for politics, computers, history, etc. I am actually enjoying that. If people like buddycraig here would leave me alone I might just be able to stay around. People have this hard-on to neg anyone against Archie. I don't like Arichie because his kits suck but that's my opinion based on experience with his V8 kit. It doesn't (shouldn't) make me a neg person but look at the bar.

Heck just 2 nights ago I was so lucky to pick up 4 more negs form not liking Archie. You should rename the forum in his honor.

I hang out mostly in O/T and Tech to help people now. Seems more people come to PFF for Fiero ownership in general than performance. Then again sounds like alot of those people NEED the help more too than on RFT.

Just remember that you can't voice your opinion here on PFF or be an individual or you'll be negged. Just do whatever everyone else does, act like you like everyon'e ugly mods and be happy when they chirp second gear. Throw in some "hey I saw a Fiero in a Facts of Life rerun" and every now and then post about how you "saw a Fiero going down I 95 was it you ?" and you'll do fine. Oh and don't forget to always ALWAYS tell Archie how cool his cars are no matter how slow they are.

I choose to stay and help people in Tech. It's the kind of tech help I didn't have back when I had my Fiero and I'd like to be a part of the solution not the problem.
