Sad part is Loyde does good work and is more than capable of completing the swap. I hope he just finishes the swap, late or not living up to the deal is always best. Couldn't speak for other folks but I would think a whole lot more of Loyde if he did just finish a nice swap for Will and put this to rest. I don't see any other way to have even a neutral outcome out of this whole ordeal without the intended work being finished. I don't think either side wants to go to court and if the car is salvageable I'm sure Will would be more than happy to have it back with a running lsx swap at this point.

Hey Will, I think I might've been with you when you met Loyde for the first time at wheatstock? I know you were there when we were up all night watching FieroX rebuild his engine for the drags the next day. I remember you mentioning your aspirations to have your car chopped and how excited you were to start the project. I really hope Loyde finds a way to straighten this out, best of luck to ya!
Loyde - Man up and fix this problem. 2010 - 2005 = 5 years. What's taking you so long? You apparently have 4 ls1's, why not just swap one of those in in the next month or two and get the car back to Will?
Side note: I agree with the previous poster who said that Loyde likes to trash on other peoples' work. It seemed like every time I talked to him about my 3800 swap or some of my other ideas that he tended to think he had some knowledge that no one else knew of or that other people did things the wrong way.

It's true. There are lots of threads even, where he jumps in, and all of a sudden there are 2 or 3 pages in the thread, of arguing about whether or not PassKey III can be hacked around, or something, wasting everyone's time. Maybe he hasn't finished Will's swap because he couldn't figure out how to disable the VATS with PK3, despite a number of others having done so already.

PK3 Plus is different than just PK3
The LSX swap has nothing to do with PK3 anything using the 411 PCM.
Lets see, one guy says come here and post, another guy says get back in the shop and dont post.
The 300ZX was for my son, but he decided he wanted a 350Z, so I kept the 300ZX. His step father purchased the 350Z, not me. I love the suspension on the 300ZX, I hate the front engine concept however.

Loyde, can you tell us why wills car isn't put together and running? I'm just curious. Your side of the story is something none of us have heard. Maybe you have a good reason? I don't know. I'm not bashing you I would genuinely like to know your side of the story. As they say there's two sides to every story. Maybe it will help people here to understand the situation better.
So, why isn't it done?
Thanks, ~Tyler------------------

I highly doubt that anyone who has followed this thread and other threads that have cast a negative shadow on your business will ever be a customer of yours. So you don't have to "hope", It is a fact.
Will, Legal action appears to be the only way this is going to come to a conclusion. I hope it all works out well for you.

But as he and others have pointed out to me in regards to my "bad" work, "good" work takes either time or skill, and loyde has always advertized that his "good" work is a result of extreme hours.

I am sorry, but I just would not trust loyde to do a swap he has never done before and get everything right, in a "reasonable" amount of time. I would have to say that even I would spend the better part of 3 months working on a LSx swap, and knowing loydes "I might get it done this year" track record when he actually works on something... I would expect a very long waiting time from the point he starts working on it.

I took 4 years to do my swap. I did manage to do a Swap for a friend in like 2 weekends and the only reason it was trailered home was an axle issue that was not my fault But again that is why I do things myself :P

My parents always told me there were three sides to a story...yours, his, and the truth somewhere inbetween...
