That's not turn key. You can get an exact replacement for the engine already in your car, yes. But that's just a crate motor. It doesn't come with the ECM, harness, flywheel, exhaust, etc… The only true way to buy an engine from GM that doesn't require ANYTHING but fuel, is to go buy a new car.

You misread my post. Everything was on the engine. It was pulled from the assembly plant before it was stuffed into a corvette. Harness, oil, plug wires, all wrapped up. It would fire up right there in the crate with a littel fuel.

My point was, that you can get one, but you will pay for it.

Wouldn't it have been a better idea to INVEST the money to build a dependable car that you could take places???

Update!

Tom just text messaged me asking for more help/advice getting the engine into the car. When I told him politely that he had cashed out his free tech support card when he called me a conman, he justified asking for my help by telling me it "would look better for me in court" and told me I was "pwned" on Pennock's. The sheer stupidity of this boy is astounding.

If he had been mature about the whole situation he would have had a ton of people willing to give him info. Now, he's just S.O.L.

Part of me still wants to help him, but then I think, what kind of message am I sending to him if I do that? He's a punk who needs to learn lying and trying to destroy someones reputation because of his own stupidity is a real bad way to get someone to help you. I know this makes me sound like a dick but I hope nobody helps him, at least with this project. He needs to learn a lesson.
