One thing you are forgetting is that Archie makes only a kit to install a SBC V-8 into a Fiero. It is the customer's choice on which engine they use. So if someone picks a 250hp LM1 that runs in the high 13's or a 355hp ZZ4 that runs in the low 12's, How is it Archie's responsibility to make it run 11's?? Most speed shops remove an engine, build it up for high power then re-install them because they are selling Horsepower. Archie uses crate engines that the customer picks out. The kit does exactly what it is designed to do, Mate an SBC to a Fiero. Another thing is Archie also sells just the kits, So many can buy the kit and do the swap themselves with the engine of their choice.
Darth Fiero has done a number of engine swaps and recently completed an LS4 swap. I don't see anyone bashing him because the cars he has done don't run in the 11's. Darth's personal car only runs 12's. Like Archie, He's not selling "horsepower" he selling his ability to do engine swaps. The same goes for Fast Fiero's, West Coast Fiero, and the Fiero Factory. They do engine swaps. With all of the above vendors that do swaps, the CUSTOMER is the one who picks out the engine. The point is if you see a Fiero with a swapped engine and in your opinion it runs slow, The person you should be blaming would be the owner, Not the place that did the swap.
There are already SBC powered Fiero's running in the 10's and 11's. The owners of the cars modded the engines for more power, So it's not like the kit hasn't been proven to hold the power. There are also quite a few who have had their SBC powered Fiero's for many, many years proving the kit lasts.

I went over there with the sole purpose of trolling you and Shaun. I figured that's all you do here, so I would go over on your turf and do the same thing. And it only took me two days to get banned over there. I have/had no intentions of being a permanent fixture over there, because PFF is the better forum, as are most of the people. Oh and this is pretty cool as well:

Hey guys, pm all your buddies on Old Europe and see if we can get hulki u my bff banned. What do you guys say? |
|
Definitely a higher caliber of people are here on PFF, something you and your little "clique" will never see in RFT. But there are people who post both here and over there that are great people as well. You're just not one of them.

You would just think in 20 plus years that the guy known for putting V-8s in Fiero's would have done more work torward performance by now. Speed shops that build cars have there own shop build cars that represents the shops and it's work. Those cars are turning high HP and low 1/4 mile times and show the community what their shop can do.
You can't even begin to compare the LS4 install Darth did to any of Archee's swaps being the LS4 swap is light years ahead of any of Archee's swaps. I mean there is a reason there has never been a 65E/V-8 install coming out of Archee's shop. As for the other vendors, they don't get there names brought up in Threads all the time for a reason. Archee has this chip on his shoulder that shows itself whenever you mention anything about his work. Anytime you suggest that is could be made better in anyway, all he wants to do it go off the deep end. Just go back and look at several Threads and you will see what I mean.
