At some point, I will be purchasing a newer car, and have just begun recently to seriously consider having a V8 swap done. At this point, I'm not sure whether I would do an SBC or a Northstar. I expect I'd want to look closer at both, and probably drive both before making that decision. I'm also unsure whether I'd have the technical knowledge by that point to do the swap myself, or pay to have it done. Either way, I'm looking at this as being something probably 4-6 years out in any case.
The point is that a year ago, I had no desire, much less a plan, to do a V8 swap. I'm now thinking seriously about it, but know it won't be for several years at least. Carry on, Andy |

Thats what I said though.. Running out of Fiero's.. 1 fiero in 'maybe 5 or 6 years', is not exactly a good business investment.. I mean, sure they add up, but for how long, and how much..

It doesn't have to be a growing business forever. Just until Archie wants to retire or gets into other things. I would imagine Archie has new ideas cooking all the time.

But keep in mind what I said--this is purely my situation, and purely anecdotal. Nothing scientific here. I was simply addressing your contention that most or all of us that wanted to do a swap had already done so. I would guess there are more people like me out there that have a Fiero now that are just starting to think about doing a swap. Archie himself said there's a plateau somewhere...I would tend to agree that now isn't the time though.
