This thread is bizarre since no governors are running for president. And every elected VP which has managed to keep his seat has come from the legislature over the course of most of our lives

Cheney - Senator WY
Gore - Senator TN
Quayle - Senator IN
H.W. - Contress Tx 7th
Mondale - Senator MN
Rockefeller - Governor NY (who was not elected by the people but rather, as you know, by the SENATE (Goldwater voting against him!)
Ford Congress MI 5th
Agnew - Governor, Maryland (resigned.)
Humphrey and before him Johnson and before him Nixon and before him Barkley and before him Truman --- THE SENATE!

In fact, you have to go all the way back to Calvin Collidge's VICE PRESIDENCY before another governor is found to have taken the spot.

Which makes this thread even more bizarre.

But, if you can find good omens in a dish of chicken bones or the history of the last 5 presidents (two of which have been disasters), then good on ya.

What is bizarre is Obama running for President with ZERO experience at ALL! You have to go back to George Washington to find that. And at least Washington was a military commander before becoming President. If I randomly grabbed someone off the street I like my odds of finding a better qualified candidate for the Presidency of the United States. NO KIDDING! I mean that seriously. I don't know of the study has been done by any accredited university but I'd love to see the results. And this guy is tied int he polls with McCain!?

No THAT is bizarre.

Your quote.... EXPERIENCE. Not Executive Experience. And you placed military commander experience as secondary in your own post.

Oops! There was some brain matter in that scoop of bullshit I took out.

I addressed your lack of a point throughout my "diatribe"

There's also Buchanan, Turdster. (5lbs less of turds, turdster.)

There's been 5 out of 43 Presidents with no Executive Experience under Turdster's definition...

Madison, JQ Adams, Buchanan, Lincoln, Kennedy

I wouldn't call a General in the Army really governmental executive experience. That's another 7-8 Presidents.

So 10% have no "Executive Experience" another 20% have been Generals in the Army. Total about 30%

YOU'RE FULL OF BULLSHIT AND YOU'VE BEEN CALLED ON IT.

P.S. Regardless of who gets elected, the next President will go on this list with no executive experience.

What kind of moronic parsing of words is this...EVERYBODY has "experience" brain bone. I can walk and chew gum at the same time (something I doubt you can handle) THAT is "experience".

But at the risk of being hard to please, I need a little bit MORE than that in a commander in Chief of the ARMED FORCES! <---uh, THAT is the PRESIDENT'S primary job.

So for the THIRD time...list Obama's experience to be PRESIDENT or shut up.

In all fairness, Todd, George Washington had Executive Experience as a General during the Revolutionary War. That's why they wanted him as President.

Show me where I used the word "governmental". You are pulling **** out of your ass again assman. Jeez, you do this every time. You misread something, blow a gasket, say something retarded, and spend 5 pages backpeddling. Is this how you amuse yourself or is it a neurological problem?

Yeah, I pointed that out. He is my quote, "And at least Washington was a military commander before becoming President".
