yes it gets old ,but this is the best fiero site i have found so i try to stay out of the line of fire .

If you are getting nasty PMs from someone, warn them that if it doesn't stop the messages will be posted in open forum. Follow through with your threat if the PMs don't stop and let the forum judge.

Is it possible to block incoming PMs from certain people?

On the other hand, there's a lot of good in these forums, many decent and helpful people doing great things and setting aside much time unnecessarily to help a Fiero owner in need. My personal thanks in this respect go out to gumert.

With any group of people, you're going to get trolls. True in real life, true on an internet forum. Actually, it's more common on the net. If you run your mouth to someone standing in front of you, you may get yourself beat. It's easier to be a jack@ss when you're safe behind a keyboard.

The rating system works pretty well, though. Are there exceptions? Sure, there are people who I wish had been banned by now. And there's also people who have more red than I feel they deserve. But I'm just one person, my opinion only counts once, and that's they way it should be, no matter how much I like or dislike certain members.

My only real complaint with the rating system is in TO/T. Some people seem to get really neg crazy when people disagree with their opinion.

This reminds me..... I happened to accidently click on the trash can (this laptop track point acts up sometimes). I was shocked at how popular the threads were there!! Really now lets stick to what we were taught (or exposed to be taught) If you don't have a nice comment to make, move on to the next thread!! If you find yourself out of threads then maybe your on the wrong forum!

Probably should have titled the thread "nasty children" instead of "nasty guys". Seems over the years the environment has become more and more hostile, everyone is entitled to give their opinion or constructive critisism but some people just don't use common sense or common decency.
Oh well, I've tried to stay out of the ratings game but have found myself using the rating option more and more over the past few months. You can only ignore some people for so long.

BTW, I've NEVER rated anyone for any comments or opinions directed at myself.

Maybe one day this "Nasty Clid" will learn the golden motto "Do unto others". Karma's a B@@ch, I hate to see what his life is really like becuase he's really earned some Bad Karma round this place.
