Every pic on the page is in the Fiero pics thread in O/T, including two I took myself with the Finale and my son in it, which I know he didn't have permission to put on his page. I didn't complain to Cliff, but at the time I thought "If I was in a bad mood, I'd sue his ass off and so could the girl in the pic, as well as Chris." *I* have written permission from the Coors Light girl to post the pic on the forum, but I know damn well *HE* doesn't. This may seem like a minor thing, but it's really not. Some of the ladies here in the forum, I'm sure, don't appreciate pictures of themselves and their cars posted in such a public arena as a web page. Yes, I realize THIS is a web page, but it is moderated and archived periodically as well. Anyway, Cliff, ya done good. John Stricker

The one girl in most of the pictures is fiero lisa, and most of the pics he has of her posted are on her own website so I dont think she would be mad about it. I will ask her though, she lives across the street from me here in ohio. Later Oh yeah...... FIEROS ROCK!!!!

Actually, pictures are technically copyrighted by those who took them. Only the permission of the photographer is required to reproduce them. Any other permission requested is merely a courtesy and not mandated by law. As such, it doesn't matter if the people in the pictures would be "pee'd" if they were posted, and said people have no legal recourse against anyone who reproduces them. Only the copyright holder, IE the original photographer, can pursue legal action if his pictures are posted in violation of his copyright.

You're forgetting something very important, FleshRocket - the model release. If the picture is a posed photo, the subject has the rights to their own image, and the photographer has to get their permission to use the image, even though the photographer has copyright on the photo itself. This does not apply to photos of people in public places, since there's no "expectation of privacy." Portraits, or photos taken out of public view (even if outside) may be subject to a model relase.
