I rememeber reading this forum when the member count was in the double digits. Technical expertise out a$$. Most all of those people are gone, but have been replaced. I know Ogre has stuck around, but doesn't post nearly as often anymore. The tech expertise is still here, just a much smaller percentage of the "population" than before. Maturity level seems quite good for web based thing. I've been impressed with the results of Cliff's "housecleaning."

I agree about the whole "family" thing. Although I only know a few Forum members, I do care about what happens to people. If I can contribute a kind word that may help someone feel better, that's okay with me. And sometimes, for whatever reason, I don't respond. Not to say that somebody else shouldn't be able to. Most of the real troublemakers are no longer here. Cliff did some housecleaning a few weeks ago. (Thanks, Cliff.) ------------------ Raydar

HEY! Why is everybody looking at me? What did I do? I haven't been posting as much and I certainly haven't been trashing through Cliff's forum like I had the unpleasant opportunity to do last summer...but, let's not visit some "dark days of the forum". ------------------ "The PRE10DR"

For just this one time i have to agree with FieroJones. Hey Jonsey, you better bookmark this cuz it prolly won't happen again... Anyway, I must say, I haven't been on the forum for long, but just in the short time i have been, it does seem that it has gone down. It didn't start out all that great and wonderful, but i have noticed in the past week or so that a certain few feel the urge to start 10 posts in one day about, well, absolutely nothing! or poor me poor me. Now, don't get me wrong, a few members have had cats die and have posted about that, stuff like that SHOULD be posted. As a few have stated, to an extent we are all "family." But, don't you find that sometimes even family gets sick of that one family member that goes on and on about themselves, no cares for anyone else, jabbering on about nothing? With a huge "family" like the forum, there is more than just one member that does that. Here's what I'm really getting at, I think the maturity level has plumetted on the side of the females. This isn't to say I hate girls, yadda yadda, hell, i'm a girl too. But this "here is a pic of me at my desk," and "this is a pic of me on the couch," and "here is another pic of me," ME ME ME business is a joke. This shout out for attention, 'oh someone please look at me and validate my self worth' is for the birds. Honestly ladies, let's clean this crap up!! With things going the way it is, is it any wonder that men don't like girls posting on their forums, belonging to their groups, etc.? None at all. Now, this isn't to say, everyone stop posting. Not at all. I luv to read about who got a ticket for what and why, someone needs some support getting through a tough time leaving a boyfriend/girlfriend, or whomever. THAT is the type of thing we are here for. To help eachother with car questions, emotional support through life, to share funny stories, exciting moments. Not to try and get attention for absolutely no reason at all. That said, let the flames commence, which I'm sure they will. --Holly

Is it me or is this thread along the same lines as what you people are complaining about? Wah, wah, wah. Post whore this and crybaby that. What are you doing right here and now? PEOPLE - The title of this section of the forum is OFF TOPIC. That means that ANYTHING that's not Fiero related is welcome here as long as it abides by the rules that Cliff has set. PERIOD. If it doesn’t interest you...DON'T READ IT. I'm not one to post my sappy emotional stuff to the public but for those who want to - power to them. If I see something I don't like -I simply keep on truckin'. (Steps off soap box and dawns flame suite ) Rob D.

I think the real problem here is characters like Shaun41178... Im a nussance at times , but I try to offset it by providing what info I can , when i can. I figure this offsets the fact that I am a jackass. But seriously , I think this forum is a great place , you are going to have problems now and then. If you think this place is bad and the maturity level is low , you should take a look at some othr forums. Cliff does a pretty good job moderating the Fiero related topics, sure they sometimes get out of hand , but it's somewhat entertaining. I agree with chester , if it doesn't interest you , then don't read it or comment on it. If you do , you are just as bad as the people who started it , you are keeping it near the top of the list! PS my cats breath smells like cat food JM

Not to sound rude, but did you even READ what was written? Doesn't sound like it to me. No one said to stop posting anything off topic, quite the contrary. --Holly
