Have you no sense of humor at all?
You post what appears to be statement offering clarification, but it's so oddly worded as to be almost incomprehensible.
Do you not see the irony in that?

You asked us to "say so" if we "don't understand" (or at least I think that's what you were suggesting)... so I posted a quote which has become known for it’s use as a joke anytime there’s an issue - minor, major, or otherwise. "Houston, we have a problem..."
You then responded with one of your usual rude remarks.
You say you’re a “very happy person”. Anyone reading your posts would beg to differ.

Levi's fit funny these days anyway. Any suggestion on a decent pair of jeans to ware? Where thay might be made?
|

I like Old Navy jeans, but I'm sure that they support a bunch of groups I'd find questionable, because it's fashionable to support gay marriage, global warming, killing preborn babies, and all the other lefty causes. That said, they did not make their money on the back of the '49ers and others to whom faith, frontier spirit and work ethic meant something.
At one time, I boycotted all I could that was made in China, due to persecution of Christians and other human rights abuses, but we (Americans) make so damn much over there. Especially since I was selling cameras, telescopes and a bunch of other stuff made there. I can't afford a Tele-Vue telescope or (another) Leica camera....

I looked and I have a bunch of wranglers and a couple of Lee jeans. They are all irregulars and purchased from outlet stores.

I decided years ago that comfort was more important to me than anything else. I much prefer wearing sweatpants. No, not the bulky grey cotton type that Rocky Balboa might have been training in a couple decades ago, but smart-fitting black nylon/polyester sweatpants. It's so nice being able to move freely in any direction without... binding, if you know what I mean.

Why didn't I stop reading with Jake_Dragon's leaking head thread, why didn't I stop? Now I've got this mental picture of a big amphibian in spandex! Yes, Patrick, I know you said smart-fitting sweatpants, but still. . .

Dude, like Nebuchadnezzar you’re delusional. You’re quick to call God a fake and those who follow are idiot, stupid, a dick and/or brainwashed. Yet you say, “Where did I "boost" about knowing everything?”
Oh well, I’m sure you won’t be the first nor the last person to mock God for there have been many that did http://www.bcc.abbottpages.com/lesson8.html
Maybe before you’re walking around on all fours--- you’ll find what the true meaning to life and then find happiness (or at least with those on this forum).

2 Thessalonians 1:1-12
| quote | Greeting 1:1 Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy,
To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thanksgiving 3 We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, [1] as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. 4 Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring.
The Judgment at Christ's Coming 5 This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering— 6 since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7 and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels 8 in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from [2] the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might, 10 when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed. 11 To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, 12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. |

From Romans 1:18-32
| quote | God's Wrath on Unrighteousness 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. 29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Though they know God's decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. |

From Acts 4:12
| quote | | 12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” |
|
John 2:1-29
| quote | Christ Our Advocate 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: 6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
The New Commandment 7 Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment that you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you have heard. 8 At the same time, it is a new commandment that I am writing to you, which is true in him and in you, because [1] the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining. 9 Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. 10 Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him [2] there is no cause for stumbling. 11 But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
12 I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven for his name's sake. 13 I am writing to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, children, because you know the Father. 14 I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
Do Not Love the World 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
Warning Concerning Antichrists 18 Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us. 20 But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. [3] 21 I write to you, not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. 24 Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he made to us [4]—eternal life.
26 I write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you. 27 But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.
Children of God 28 And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming. 29 If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him. |

I guess Phranc can be called an Antichrist by what I quoted above. [This message has been edited by avengador1 (edited 06-01-2009).]
