Yeah I know, how dare I use the christian bible. But christian are always quick to dismiss the old testament that their false prophet was a rabbi of. Well unless there is a part of it that works in their favour. Then its ok to use.

If christianity raised man above the animals how come in most of the world where christianity isn't the religion they are free of slaves and women can vote? You make it sound like the hindus and budists should be slave holding, women oppressors. And would that prison reform include the first penitentiaries? Do you realize why they are called penitentiaries?

And religion should be removed from government because when the government was founded they left it out. And they did that for a reason.

Religion was never "left out" of American government. God is in our founding documents. Even the Liberty Bell quotes Leviticus, and we are "created equal, and endowed by (our) Creator with certain inalienable rights." While specific denominations were not to be preferred nor excluded from the political process, our founding fathers, even the Deists, could not comprehend of a nation without the support of Divine Providence. Over 80% of the speeches and writings for our FF's quote or refer directly to the Old and New Testaments as we know them.

Slavery predated Judaism, though I'm sure that Christians taught the Athenians, the Huns, the Gauls, etc. slavery. Even Native American tribes enslaved one another.

And I don't have a problem with you using the Bible. In fact, read it more, and learn what Jesus really had to say. Then stop using it out of context.

Where exactly is god in our founding documents? You point to the creator word. I wasn't created by your imaginary friend. I was created biologically by two people. It was left vague for a reason. If the had wanted to say god they would have. They didn't. Yet another christian who injects his god where it isn't to fail at proving there is god in our government.

I know what the man Jesus had to say. I read the bible. I'm not using it out of context. But like a good little brainwashed christian when ever the bible is used to show you how full of crap your religion is you play the out of context card. Its ok though. You only do what you were programmed to do.

Ok so you are just ignorant to the meaning and instead of admitting that you lash out. I said that to give context of my time in the church. But you are just a brainwashed christin who can't get past his programming.

Can you name one world power-- past or present that doesn't have some form of religious influence over it's leaders/kings/prince/queen/dictator/president?

Where did I "boost" about knowing everything? You are so desperate in your failure and ignorance you are making things up.If need to be a liar that's ok. Make sure you ask your imaginary friend to forgive for breaking his rules.

You just got a negative.

I'm sure that I haven't taken any of your last five posts out of context. I've been patient, but you've taken this conversation way past civil right off the deep end.

So, is everyone, anyone or nobody buying Levis now? This is no different that any political campaign where you decide what candidate you want to support.

Told my wife to not buy Levis for me to wear, that I won't wear any new Levis she buys from now on, (Actually some time ago when I finally learned of their decision to not support the Boy Scouts any longer.) or in the future, at least until they figure out that they are not the Social Police, they make and sell a product, period. I'll not have any of my money going to a company that blatantly supports things I don't agree with or trying to force some agenda on me that I think is wrong. Really doesn't matter why, that's left to my discretion and right to decide. I'll admit there's probably a lot of things that are being supported by other companies that I don't know about but, if you blatantly throw it in my face, you won't get to spend my money on your socialistic changes. The almighty dollar or lack thereof also sends a message, I hope they hear mine.

Ron
