On that--you are correct. We really don't understand where you are comming from with this, and are trying to get you not to make mistakes that many young adults do with their income. Most of us here, (including the guy you called immature in another thread), have already been where you now find yourself, have already successfully raised our children, already have grandchildren half your age, and have been pretty succesfull financially while getting here. I understand you are young, bulletproof & invisible, full of P & vinegar and ready to conquer the world, same as we were at your age, but one of the very 1st things most of us learned was that the world is NOT what our High School teachers said it was. Don't be so quick to ridicule good advice when it's handed to you free of charge. The day will come that you will see it's worth.

hmm maybe maybe not. I live my life the way I see it... and it’s worked out pretty well for me so far.
OH and how many 20 year olds do you know that have over 12k in liquid assists? I don’t know any. I realize that isn’t much but 12k is enough to pay rent for over half a year... its enough for a down payment on many cars... by tax time next year there will be 18k in the bank... by tax time the following year there will be 24k. I should be in my last year of college by then... and we'll see what I’ve chosen for my life... and I’m sure 24k will be enough to get going in the direction I want... Well, there's several billion of us in that category. And then there's you. You're an angry young man who's in for a rude awakening one day.

oh ya there are several billion of you who think that people buying stuff isn't what keeps the economy rolling ... I wonder how capitalism ever came about. I wonder why there are commercials… if we aren’t supposed to be buying things… crazy. You people keep saying that... must make you feel good... as it has no real value, like much of your argument.
