Here is the engine as it was when it left Bobby's house.

I think I know what the problem is...the muffler mechanics thought the brown pre-lube the entire engine was packed with was mud!

He was only supposed to get what was pictured and for free I sent him the accessories, intake stuff, gaskets, and a lot more because it was just laying around and I didn't want his muffler shop to start buying parts for him.

Oh, forgot something else. This wonderful shop he's using wanted 200.00 for the just the water pump (Labor not included) since it was supposedly cracked when it got there. I offered to pay for it AND send him a new one which I OVERNIGHTED to save him time even though I didn't even have to send him the water pump at all being an accessory. The water pump set me back 12.74...isn't that like a 1500% markup? Honest shop for sure, Tom. I also sent him a brand new corvette fuel pump instead of a used 2.8l pump. The 200 dollar water pump alone should have been enough for him to have Joe install the engine, but no, he wanted it done at a muffler shop. YOU got yourself into this mess by letting someone who probably has never worked on a Fiero before work on your car.

I actually had to explain what the C500 was to his mechanic who called me for help. I also had to explain how to drop the fuel tank and change the pump, how to remove the center console to replace the ECM, and several other things, after which point I again suggested to Tom he have a Fiero mechanic do the install.

Don't blame me for your stupidity. You got bent over good by a shady Big Rapids hick mechanic working in a muffler shop. If you search on here, I got bent over for 1,500 to fix a timing chain on a 2.8l before I knew anything about cars. The mechanic actually had to remove the heads before he figured out what was wrong, and he charged me 60 bucks an hour to drink and ponder what the problem could be when I could have diagnosed it in 1 minute now. Did I blame the guy who sold me the car for selling me "broken parts"? No. I blamed myself for being stupid enough to pay a mechanic who didn't even know what a Fiero was other than rumors of engine fires to fix my beloved car. It's a mistake I'll never make again and never have made again.

I sent you a rebuilt longbock with new Fiero heads, a cold air intake, a gauge cluster, and a Corvette fuel pump. That's ALL I "sold" you. Everything else was given to you for free because I didn't need it and I wanted to help you get your car back on the road ASAP. And you're mad because I'm not sending you bullshit parts like an EGR tube? Grow up. My kindness does not extend into the realm of buying you every little odd and end to get the engine into your car.

I wonder how long it will be before he starts asking me for oil and antifreeze and flaming me for not sending him a complete engine with fluids in it...

You said I was a joke, Tom. I don't think all the laughter you're reading is aimed at me.
