Technically, Steve stepped up to the plate and faced the music and very few of those that are directly involved replied. For the most part, those that did were welcoming him back and treated him with some respect. However, once more there was opportunity to virtually kick another forum member and it's alarming how quickly it happened. Whats equally alarming is why this was allowed to continue.

I understand this forum is self moderated but personally I find the content upsetting. Maybe I'm alone here. The overuse of the reference to unsightly bodyparts leaves me scratching my head as to why this is allowed. I was chatting to a friend on AIM and I sent the link so they could read this. I asked who seems to have the biggest problem here, the ones directly affected by the soured transactions or what. Their reply... 80's BOY. They wanted to join the forum simply to put this kid in his place because they found the content of his blather appalling.

Granted, I'm relatively new here and didnt get the chance to witness Dude 16 or whatever his forum name was. I understand this isnt the first time this crap has happened here but now that I have seen it fisthand I come away with a different outlook. Self moderation is ok to a point; however, I've seen lesser threads sent to the trashcan, such as the racial joke thread in T O/T. I wonder how many others here find this thread offensive and now off-topic. It has been hijacked and filled with references to the male anatomy directed squarely toward those of us without negative ratings. 80's BOY will be gone soon. Thats something I'll watch for with anticipation. Equally, I will watch for this thread to be either locked down or allowed to continue, breaking basic laws of forum posting, just as the joke thread did. It will be that outcome that will determine my overall view of the forum, as there is only one person that can make this place one in which its members can feel good about frequenting.

There was a similar 'ripoff' thread for Soaper and it didnt raise as much fuss as this. Even Archie stepped in to offer some insight on him but it seems that people here pick and choose their enemies as well as their friends. I have been in touch with Soaper and we're working out a deal. As soon as its finalized, I'll post it and hopefully everyone that is due something from him will get what they need.

I'm come here to assist when and where I can but now I feel I have to walk on eggshells around some of you. I really dont appreciate being called a scrotum nor do I appreciate the insinuation that I render affectionate advances toward someones glutious maximus merely because I keep my nose clean on this forum. I guess I was raised differently. Personally, I'm glad 80's BOY wont be at any shows as he opted to part out his car, effectively killing yet another Fiero for his own gain. Not having to meet this individual in person makes me feel better about attending Fiero functions. There are a few others however that dont fit that situation and all I can do is pray that our paths do not cross.

Not a single one of us witnessed the act in question, so none of us is qualified to pass judgement. For all we know, the truck could have only been in water up to the windows, so the guy was never actually in danger of drowing. Or it could be at the bottom of the lake. However, I agree that the fact that he wasn't hauled off by the police the very next day, if not sooner, means that either the law inforcement in that town really isn't particularly impressive or that they sided with Steve.

So, did he go overboard? Oh heck ya. Was he atleast partially justified? I think so. Could it have been handled differently? Everything can be. Thats the miracle of hindsight. Its so easy to talk about what could have been done better after the fact. Its done, its over, and we'll find out in a few months what the American legal system thinks about all this. Till then, I think we've covered pretty much everything.

First off.. I did not start this thread to start a war!

I want to add a few thing's since I feel like I HAVE TO!
I found him with his stuff packed and in his truck. He was waiting on someone and was already on the pier when I found him.
1. The assault was thrown out by the judge since I just help the pipe with the promise to kill him with it if he did'nt do what I said. I never used it on him once.
2. The kidnapping was also thrown out by the judge since I did'nt move him more the 12ft. required for the it to become kidnapping... I made him tie himself up(feet) and I tied his hand's in front of him(so he would'nt drown..maybe) I told him a few choice word's and gave him a push(5ft. deep).

So, the assault was thrown out, the kidnapping was thrown out by the judge!!

3. The failure to render aid was also thrown out since I DID help him in was the judge said was an appropriate time manner...

4. The Auto Theft is ALL I have left to beat and I might beat it since, I did'nt use any and I just let it coast down a hill and down the boatramp.....
