Nebrios88 That is an innovative idea but no matter how it was presented Bob wouldnt have of it, NO pushing, NO trailer, NO NOTHING, your out of the show, thanks for your money, bye bye...........THAT IS WHAT PISSED me off. Just like kicking a dog to the curb. Songman Lastly my other issue is what Songman slightly overlooked. The "rules" were not printed anywhere regarding this subject. My response from them was the same. "Sorry we messed up, we didnt print any rules, or clarify them, it was discussed in our meetings though ( which doesnt help anyone )here's a 50 cent trophy to shut you up" .......this isnt anyway to resolve this !!!!! If it were clear in the rules that all cars are to be operational and drive to the lanes........I wouldnt have risked my car.

I'm not disagreeing, Shaun... What I am saying is that in my opinion ANY car that wants to compete in ANY show should be operational. Bottom line. I have always been into street rods and muscle cars. I remember one particular show where a 59 Corvette with a chromed blown motor had to be pushed through the Top 20 parade... Why? Because the motor didn't even have a crank, pistons, cam... nothing internal! Just a pretty outside. To me that is just wrong! To me, and this is the point I am making... if I want my car judged in a show on Saturday, there is no way I would risk it on Friday. What if I lost control and slammed a wall? Do I still get judged? Again, I am not saying you are wrong about printed rules. But I am saying anyone who wants to take risks in a car that is to be shown should be prepared for the outcome. And I realize the weekend timing, John. We'll have the same thing in Vegas this weekend. Even though I was not there, I do realize the arguments here. I'm just not sure that I see why this is continuing wanting public apologies. And it seems to me that they have already been made, if for no other reason but to end this. Now it seems that in one case anyway, the apology has to be in writing... I'm not against you, Shaun. But I hope you see what I am saying too... So, you blew an engine and couldn't be judged. Would it really have been any different if you had blew a tire and slammed a wall. ANY car in a show should be a good running car... in my opinion of course. To me, car shows are more than just pretty paint. You should have gotten that hard luck award. And from what I read, that is what you opted to do.

Ya know I've never posted on here before (hence the name) but I have some interesting observations... I was present when yello said which lane he went through...I was also present when he joked that his low paint score must have been due to the fact that his paint was "popping" in places. His roof was spraypainted as was his wing...and he had cigarette stuff and velcro in his interior...I'm starting to wonder. What I also noted was that some very nice cars went through the same lane as yello. I know for a fact that Fierochik's car went through the same lane and I'm pretty sure she feels she recieved a fair score. She also went through earlier in the day the yello so if what yello is saying is true then two facts have to be present: 1.) Fierochik's car recieved high marks and thus in the eyes of the judge was a shitty car - I think not! 2.) Or the judge switched his scoring method just to do yello's car : not the one's before or after...hmmmmm this is fishy. Personally just shut the heck up! Funny that yello only complains when he loses never when he gets a trophy. No wonder people dread him comnig to there shows.

the judge at lane 1 did a very poor job checking out my car, He never even walked around it, just looked from outside of it. i think my score was the lowest of the show with 17 outta 100 and i had 4 new tires, nice AR-25 rims, EXCELLENT interior and clean engine bay. only problem with my car was poor exterior paint. its very sunfaded and the front fender has a crack in it. which judge did you guys have problems with? matthew
