Yep. What do you expect with a bunch of old men who dont know what a real car is anyway.

Hopefully more members will leave and this place gets shut down. Then those morons who dont even own a fiero who hang out on here daily realize how much time they've pissed away on a phucking forum.

As for the ratings, who cares. You can keep coming back..again, and again.

If I decided to leave PFF and announce it to everyone, no one would really care considering I haven't done much for the boards besides take up space. Lol.

I've kind of thought about that too...

It is a shame when "veteran" Fiero owners decide to leave. The way it typically works is... you have a person who grows with the car, and they've worked on the car a lot... they've gotten a lot of advice from whatever web site caters to their car, and once they more or less become an "expert" they then in turn give back in the forums to help people just like they were.

I was on a board for Crown Victorias, Grand Marquis, and Mercury Marauders... http://www.CrownVic.net

I had been there for a few years, and have gotten to the point where I know enough about the cars that I was ready, so to speak, to start giving back. But I started to engage in conversations in these kinds of forums, and I think the moderator ended up confusing me with someone else. He kept thinking I was talking about religion (which I don't) and threatened me a few times, at which point I told the guy he was an idiot, has me confused with someone else and told him to go ahead and ban me if it'll make him feel better.

Haha... so, I'm gone from there.

I've been on here for a while, as well as the Fiero List. I've been working on Fieros now for 13 years...

13 years ago, I thought an oil change meant that you "changed the oil" by topping off the crank case.

13 years ago, I would call my parents if I had a flat tire because I didn't know how to change it.

This web site, along with Ed Parks, and the Fiero-List have basically turned me into a complete 180.

I realize that I can never be an "expert" so to speak, but I've gone from knowing absolutely NOTHING about cars, to having rebuilt my own engines, restored a few cars... I owe it all to sites like this.

So I'm going to try not to piss too many people off.

I've been on here LOOOONG enough, and I've taken apart and rebuilt enough Fieros that I consider myself "one of" the experts on here. I always try to help out whenever I can, and purposely look for the posts that have "0" responses.

The only thing that bums me out a little bit is that I'm not overly familiar with the 3800 and the 4.9 engines, so I basically can't help (if at all) when it comes to engine swaps, clearance questions, stuff like that.

If it were me, it might be better to ban people from the off-topic boards, and general chat...

I ENJOY responding to questions about Fieros...

I suppose you'll always get those people who get at eachother's throats when they argue about things like whether the H272 is better than the 2030 cam, or vice versa, or... what are some other ones? V8 swaps apparently get a lot of heat sometimes... I forget why though... notching frames or something... hahah...

Sorry, I don't know... I don't want to get any "-"s... I still keep the same motors... but if I ever get another Fiero, I'll definitely do a swap.

I rebuilt my 2.8 into a 3.1, and that's probabyl as far as I go.

I'm totally rambling now, so I'll end this post.
