Yes smoooth that is poosible. A guy in town has a honda that ran 10 somthing at 132 mph. Thats alot of spinning though... so Until theres a timeslip thats real, accompanied by a video... I will call BS.

On a seperate note... Yes FieroX's times are 100 percent real. I was there for the 12.004 run; and have seen, ridden in, and helped work on that car. It IS real.

Okay, okay....

Enough is enough. Either way, this is pointless. But I will say this, I am very hesitant to post any times. Do I really have to have video, a digital (I'm sorry an original) photo, 15 eye witnesses, a signed slip from the track, and the testimony of a trusted preacher to post a time?

Please, by now with all of these posts, everyone can use their own judgement about this issue. Kiss and make up. Life is too short.

P.S. Smoooooth.... I don't think any one is listening. Sorry.

Smoooth, yes a 10.6 at 124 is completely possible. But 124 mph is about the average mph of a car that goes 11.2 or so. To run a 10.62 without diving on the brakes at the finish line you would have to have a 60' time of 1.40 or there abouts. Your average car that runs 10.60's is in the 130 mph range, with 1.50 60's, Im still calling bs.
Just ask yourself this one question. If he had the real slip all along, why would he spend the time in photoshop, and waste the time posting a fake one?

You are comparing the Holy Grail to a coffee cup. Of course people are going to be pissed and rant on for ever when someone claims he has reached what every other single Fiero out there is trying to reach. And he decided this forum has gone to hell? If anything, it's because of bs like this. Not because a thread about a guy painting his car gets no replies.

I'm sorry, but I get seriously p'd off when someone uses "this forum is going to hell" as a sorry excuse to post bs.

If he was so concerned about a thread about a guy painting his car not getting any replies, then why didn't he reply himself?

So why did he post it then? To prove a point? To prove that this forum is going to hell? Or did he post it to completely destroy his credibility? If he did it to prove this forum is going to hell, then you bet your *** people are going to be all over him. And I will be too. Either way you slice, cut or dice it, it doesn't add up. He was caught on a lie, and he did not do it to prove a point. If so, he would have informed a few people beforehand that he would do so, as to be sure he could either a) gloat about it, b) actually prove a point to anyone other then himself, c) make sure he wouldn't make an *** out of himself.

He wants to prove his point? Let's see the real timeslip then. Make us eat our words. Oh, I get it. He's done with the forum. So you've seen the timeslip? In a PM? And you are 100% sure it's not faked either? If he send it to you in PM, it's still in your inbox. Send it to me or one of the other PhotoShop experts here and we can say for 99% sure if it was faked or not.

Again, I get seriously p'd off when someone attacks the forum just because he's been caught with his pants down. I kinda take that personal.

How convenient. So you actually both thought it would be fun to "prove" this forum is going to hell? I'm not attacking you Smooooth, I have too much respect for you (and your car - if it's ever going to be finished ) here on the forum to do so. I'm just trying to figure out why you choose to defend him, while he's obviously pulling your leg too.

Yes, I have seen it, in my email... not a PM!

Even better, then it's still on your computer and it can't be pulled by Tyler.

I talked to Tyler this morning and he does'nt want me to post it as of yet...

And he has a very good reason for that of course. Is he preparing for his big finale? A finale that will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this forum is a waste of people's time?

I'm not asking you to post it, I'm asking you to send it to me.

Cliff, This is the internet, don't take any of ANYTHING personal!

No, this is something I put my blood, sweat and tears in. How can I not take this personal? If someone calls your car (where you've obviously put a lot of time in) a piece of junk on wheels, you don't take it personal? If you don't, then you are a better person than I am.
