But since I'm here before the lock, why not? This whole story, if true, seriously makes me question Steve's judgement. Let me get this straight. Guy allegedly beats up on his kid. Police are called, however, they take so long in responding that the alleged culprit is able to make arrangements to go out of state to avoid arrest and in fact is caught packing his stuff. Cops are still on the way, but Uncle Steve decides that instead of just sitting on the guy, he'll tie him up, take him to the lake, and dunk him a couple of times to teach him a lesson. Of course, if the guy had passed out and become wet dead weight, then the kid can grow up so well adjusted because Uncle Steve is in prison for killing his daddy. Yep, that's Smoooth alright.

So yeah, I'm going to have to weigh in on the unpopular side of this argument. Unlikely story aside, Steve did misappropriate funds. He didn't spend the money on bail, rather on expenses that were predictable. He had to feed his family, ok. But he knew his family was goin to have to eat. There are so many ways to get assistance with food. There are day labor companies that will pay you the same day that you work. However, Steve picked a lazy man's way out and stole. Then rather then just quietly face the music, he returns with this smoke and mirrors story (which I agree is likely BS) to divert our attention and make his motives seem heroic.

And guess what? It looks like it worked on most of you.

I highly doubt he's bought only his lil fix of bondo, from what I've gathered he's bought a good many extra body parts, wasted said body parts and then bought more. Last I heard fastback clips, dooors, fascias and other misc fiero body parts were not cheap. Atleast where I'm at they are not.
