when the police get there tell them you wanna press charges and what happends? probebly the same thing as what happend with smooth the guy will serve his time in jail (in smooths case 5 years) and then what happends? thats it! no felenly warrents for you so you are "late" shipping people there items. no jail time or risk of being accused of attempted murder"
none of the bullshit smooth had to go threw. and the guy is still served his justice. if he was really headed for the border "which now all this sounds like smooths been sniffing to much bondo because this story keeps getting better and better"
then yeah smooth should have detianed him if he wanted to see justice sevred but he sure as hell wasnt thinking to smart had he thrown the guy in a lake. smooth is very very lucky the guy did not drown and smoooth be locked up for life now. how was smooth to know how long the guy could stay underwater for? or if he was alive or not? or what? also his last charge was failer to render aid wich ment he didnt help the guy out, but smooth says he did? I dont get it and he doesnt tell us the whole story so I call B.S. about some of this story because there is certin things he left out and his story isnt making sense. and if it all is true. then smooth has some serious anger or mental problems. and should seek help before he kills someone else that messes with his nephew.

ok last post and i promise not to look in here anymore.
smoooth ****ed up everyone agree's on that.
smooth has to correct his mistakes like he says he will.
everyone agree's on that that needs to be done. only time will tell with that.
not everyone agree's on him throwing a guy into a lake.
some think it was right because of what the man did to the child.
some think there is better ways that smooth could have handled that.
we will have to agree to disigree, Or we can just sit in here and argue back and forth more wasting everyones time.
I hope smooth sends everyone what they orderd from him.
and with him comming back on the forum it seems as though he would.
however i belive and i think if you asked anyone smooth risked his ass big time doing what he did. he had Felony warrents out on him. but if he is hurting so bad for money the decsion he made did do somthing for sure. it gave him alot more fines and court **** to deal with. so if he couldnt servive before without taking money he is gonna have a hard time now.
as for soup saying the law doesnt do anything. in some cases the law isnt as just as it should be. But didn't smooth already say the guy got 5 years in jail he is currently serving? so how does you argument about the law not doing anything even come into play here?
read my posts im not here to flame i have all valid questions and resoning. and all i have goton back is name calling and no real legitmet answers.
anyways i have goten enough smooothgt for tonight and im going to bed. goodnight peeps.

Smoooth I would not say anything here about what you did. I am sure that you know that but just in case.
If you are quoted wrong in the heat of a fight it could be used against you.

If the jerk was fleeing the state then would it not be considered citizens arrest?
Given the circumstances would anyone here not have the same thoughts go through their head? If a small child I knew was hurt and the person responsible was in my control it would be hard to not take things into my own hands. Even if I started out with the best intentions it would probably degrade into a good ass kicking. Living in the moment is what happens when stress and frustration grab you like that, there is no way to keep a cool head in that circumstance. Plus finding the jerk packed and leaving the state would just prove guilt.

I don’t think what smooth did was right, I think that he should be held responsible. I also think that punishment is not ours to deal out, a group of people will probably do that or a judge. I hope that they can administer justice with insight into what would drive a grown sane man to go to these measures.

Why not back off a little and call it the Christmas season.

You know, I have never ordered anything from smooth, but when I think of someone that rips off my money I need look no further that the Federal, state & local governments. I get taxed for 28% of my gross wages right from the start. Then, there is the $2,600 of yearly property taxes on a house that is assessed for $45,000. 8% sales tax on all purchases including toilet paper. Vehicle registrations & inspection fees, excise tax on tires not to mention all the taxes on gasoline that drive the prices to over $1.70/gal for regular. How about $900per year to insure each of my 5 cars and I have never had a ticket in my life. Lets not get into medical costs. When my wife had her heart attack, she had two injections of genetically engineered "clot buster" at over $6,000 per shot. Guess what health insurance costs for my family? Guess what she pays for prescription drugs each month? All of this takes up about half of my pay each month. I am sure that much of it lines some beurocrat's pocket or winds up in the profit margin of some big company lobbying for perks. Hell, I can’t even get the county to plow my road half of the time.

80's boy, I am sure that you face similar taxes & penalties. Do you write letters like this to your Congressmen about how your taxes are spent? I agree that there has been an injustice and it is a matter of principle but we are talking about $20 here and $50 there. I can't figure out your "lynch mob" attitude when I put it in this perspective.
