I sure notice a difference on how some members handle perceived putdowns. Taking it with humor sure puts out a better image than showing anger and lashing out.
My mom was such a tightass I'm not sure she had a buttcrack. Just in case somebody is offended by my preferring humor, the preceding sentence was fair warning that you can't come from my mother's buttcrack without being a pinhead. XL shirt, size 2 hat signing off.

Read the context of the 30k recommendation. It's for the benefit of users with low speed connections, not for reducing bandwidth to the server. So actually you are in error.
