Heh heh, I didn't see the cat at first. I have a black cat as well. She stands in the shadows, and all I can spot (if I'm very observant) is her eyes glowing in the dark. lol

Haha... we do too. The cat was a month old and we found him outside. My daughter desperately wanted a pet, so I was like... "here," and handed her the month-old kitten. His hair was patchy and mangey, he had worms, and some weird skin parasites on him. We cleaned him up, took him to the vet to get all his shots and all the other stuff, bottle-fed him, and he's super healthy now. All the skin conditions went away, and he's a year old right now.
But damn... late at night, you can't see him AT ALL. He's actually darker than the darkness. Sometimes, the only way I know he's in front of me (when the lights are off) is because it's darker where he is because his body just absorbs the light.
