RIP George...
I loved Cheers and its spin-offs. Most shows tend to lose their spark when main characters leave and are replaced, but Cheers was a rare exception. George Wendt was always one of my favorites- not only because of the role he played, but because of the kind of person he seemed to be. I also really enjoyed Frasier - a perfect example of how to do a spin-off right.

I liked George in Cheers- but also in an odd horror/comedy movie; "House".....A lot of critics do not like when you mix genres- But I liked this movie and also the first four Tremors movies.
Best scene in Cheers was when Norm and Cliff decided to Up-hold the bar's reputation when a beautiful woman walked in but Sammy was not there- they went around to her and she immediately turned to them and stated "Hi! What are your names?" and they then locked up and stumbled back to their end of the bar while mumbling incoherently....

I will drink a beer for him.
RIP George.
I liked the way everybody said "Norm" when he walked in the door.
