Came across an interesting car from the 50's, the Dodge Firearrow. Yes, it was the name that initially caught my attention. This was the fourth of four iterations of this Chysler concept car, with a body handcrafted by Ghia of Italy.

It's very cool looking. But something that caught my eye is when it went to the steering wheel.
I'm sure that car has sat 99.99% of its life in an air conditioned warehouse... yet, you see the wear and oxidization that's already happened on the steering wheel. The Lucite looks like it's cracking, the polished chrome looks like it's starting to bubble, and center cap is getting cloudy. Not criticizing it, but it makes me realize that things don't last forever... even if it's well-cared for... :/
