Flying Car

I don't know...doesn't look real "practical"...but it DOES fly!

Interesting, half expected it to start flapping those butterfly doors at the beginning haha, I wonder why the rear wheels are always turning in the air, seems inefficient.

As an aircraft mechanic, the amount of failure points in this project are incredibly high. The design is awesome for.....well.....the designer. Other than that, there's no way this would ever be available for the public.

NOT impressed.
Nor is George or his son Elroy.

Kind of interesting- I have been into- and working on- aircraft my whole life....back in the 70s a company was working on a flying Ford Pinto...it would have a removable wing/tail/engine (From a Skymaster)...the test vehicle had this installed, but stu-pidly, they used POP-RIVETS to hold the wing-struts to the bottom of the rocker panels....during a test flight one strut came loose, but the PROFESSINAL test pilot was able to land it safely (Without TURNING it)...

A few weeks later the inventor and the company president took it for a test flight- the wing strut separated again....but the non-professional pilot tried to turn and the wing folded...both were killed in the crash.

A guy named Moller has been trying to develop a flying car for over 50 years....Several prototypes....
