I close today on a house in Tampa... it was the craziest home / real estate experience of my life. Literally, every part of the process was inundated. There were over 12 serious offers, and I had to give it all just to win the damned house. The title company, and the mortgage broker were so unbelievably swamped, that the mortgage broker didn't get the paperwork finally pushed through and approved until 600pm last night. I'm not even really sure I'm closing today because it was so last minute. I had to sell every stock and gather up almost every bit of savings I had just for the down payment. Normally I'd sell this house before I buy the next house, but I can't do that since I still need to be in this house for another 2 months.

Thankfully though, the process will 100% be in my favor when I sell this house in San Antonio next month.

Here is a solution to the housing shortages that would also shrink carbon footprint vs. regular housing at the same time. Picture these put together in a 'rooming house' concept. All that is needed is satellite storage for clothes and a few personal belongings and some community space (kitchen, dining, living room.)

Economy

Deluxe

If you post was legit, $100.00 is a bargain for yard art.

Got a link ?

Only about $100, if you build it yourself (kits come that way anyway). Google search, How to build an outhouse (some videos on youtube too). No pit needed, if this is for display only.

I actually built one for a toy shed when the kids were tiny. Whole thing was done out of 2 sheets of 1/4" ply and some 2x2 blocks as screw cleats. It lasted about 15 years. 2x2x6 foot with a peaked roof. IIRC the plans came from an old (1960's old) Home Handyman (or something) magazine.
