I know that I've had ONE of the soy-based Impossible Burgers.

Maybe two.

That's since the first time that I posted about them, and that's been what--maybe three years ago?

I think I should make it a point to have another one soon. Just to remind me of what it was like.

I really like "Amy's All American Veggie burgers" but a friend of mine wouldn't try them- he stated that he had to eat real meat......He ate himself from 250 up to 400 in two years, but would never even try to exercise.....Foot amputated because he developed diabetes, then had a heart attach and died at 60.

I liked the flavor of these...but I can't eat them now because of my Lupus/ low acid situation. And I have NOT developed any boobies (I keep checking but am very disappointed)


Then again, maybe you meant a different type of "Boobies"......

Many years ago when I first started my own engineering company one of my very first clients was a big name pharmaceutical manufacturer.
They wanted us to design and build a special new automated pill packaging line for them.
In order to quote this we had to inspect the dimensions of the rooms we had to work with as the machine would have to pass through a FDA "clean room" into a regular room.

When we showed up at the clients facility they had us put on "moon suits", booties and full face respirators. I thought this seemed odd but didn't ask or complain.

As we were going through the proposed packaging rooms there was some abandoned equipment and a lot of white dust everywhere.

Our host, (the client's facilities engineering manager), then explained that the space had previously been used for manufacturing birth control pills and hadn't been cleaned up yet. He told us that the dust contained very high levels of estrogen and progestin and that they had us wear the safety equipment to prevent us from exposure and possibly developing "big boobs" (his words) and having "other undesired" effects.

Apparently our host had forgotten that one of the three of us was a young female engineer employee of mine who was notably flat-chested.

After we ended the tour and were turning in our suits and respirators she very stone-faced said to our host; ...."You know I really appreciated your warning about growing big boobs."

His face went as white as the powder we had all been trudging through.

We waited until we all left their facility and were in the rental car in the parking lot before we all started laughing.
The client signed the contract later that afternoon and I gave my young engineer a bonus for her excellent tour performance.
