How would you describe this music. I hear a bit of bluegrass, old schools blues, and R&B. Found this by following the rabbit hole after watching Steel Panther cover "beautiful girls" by Van Halen

Played on Americana formats. WDVX.com plays Pokey.

A lot of what Pokey LaFarge does could be called traditional jazz, but not that song. It would be best to let him describe his style, himself.
I realy like most of his stuff, especially while Chloe Feoranzo was with the band. Chloe is my favorite clarinet player, and a big advocate of traditional jazz.
That Epiphone he plays is from 1946.

After listening to the song posted at the top of the page a few times, if I had to pigeon-hole it, I suppose I would call it Rhythm & Blues in the style of the '50s and '60s. I know that R&B has taken on a different meaning in the modern era.
The video is distracting.
