LONDON — Audiences around the world were promised that Prince Harry and Meghan’s interview with media mogul Oprah Winfrey would be a tell-all exclusive, in which no topics were off-limits. And Sunday night's broadcast delivered, stunning viewers and prompting celebrities, royal experts and members of the public to react to the couple's claims.

Allegations by Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, that in the months leading up to Archie's birth [Archie: the almost two-year old son of Prince Harry and Meghan] a royal insider expressed “concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he's born” struck a nerve with many viewers.

#AbolishTheMonarchy was trending on Twitter in the United Kingdom after the interview.

The report continues online at NBC News.

Yeh, I've seen some of it...not nearly all because I really dont give a crap about the Royals...

I'll give Harry this...

Walks away from a Royal title, riches, home, family, history, castles, cars and literally a "golden life'....for his wife and child.

Man has balls of steel.

Is anyone really surprised that the British royalty, the European aristocracy, think like this?

Didn't Canada and America both do essentially the same thing?

Yeh, but we aren.t royalty...just the average peon-serf just smart enough to earn and pay taxes, but not smart enough to break free....

Trained dumb apes, mostly.

There is a river that runs through the rain forest.
The water filters through the sand and rock and creates underground pools.
In these pools there are blind fish that have never seen the light of day.
They live in total isolation.

Have never understood the media's fascination with the Royals. Although I do know a few girls that always watch that stuff. I figure it's a girly thing.

Simply don't care.

Harry is an idiot. He could've chosen anyone but instead married a used up trouble maker who is an embarrassment to her family. She has caused so much trouble for all of them it's embarrassing to some Americans.

If Edward hadn't abdicated these 2 wouldn't be where they are. These people probably deserve what they're getting from this trainwreck.

Apparently, she knows how to do something well enough to impress Harry.
