The most popular president ever? Really? (Page 1/3)

With 81,000,000 votes, he's supposed to be the peoples choice! Well, here is the official White House YouTube channel and take a look at the like/dislike ratio for these videos from the first day. They even turned off commenting on a few of them.

The people have spoken!

Kind of reminds me of movie box office numbers.

Seemed like every year or so a blockbuster movie would be labeled as the largest box office of all time.

But that's because the dollar figures they are using is for today vs yesterday, which isn't a fair comparison.

Sort of like how they are calling Musk or Bezos or Gates the richest people in the world. That doesn't equate to the richest person in history or in relative comparison.

The United States has a growing population. Biden may have indeed received the "most" votes in US history in shear numbers, but Trump received the 2nd most votes in history. Yes, Trump received more votes than in 2016 and way more than Obama.

As far as percentage of the electoral college, which would be the correct comparison on which President received the "most votes" in the modern area. That honor goes to Ronald Regan at 97.58% for his second term, but he did receive 90.89% for his first term. Nixon won over 90% for this 2nd term.

You would have to go back to Abraham Lincoln's second term, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington (which he received 100%) to have Presidents win over 90% of the electoral college.

Who received the lowest percentage of electoral college votes was Bill Clinton in his 1st term 43% and even his second term was 49.23% (the media called it a landslide back then). Baby Bush won greater percentages than Bill Clinton. Joe Biden percentage is 56.88%

So like movie box office numbers, which would claim that a movie like Transformers 3 made more money than E.T. is not a fair comparison. But it is what they use.

The good thing about Biden is that the media will be soft for the next four years. So that's good.

That's a good thing?

I wonder if you would like to revisit that remark? A clarification or an elaboration?

It could provoke some discussion. Which may be a good thing. (Or not.)

Obviously, Youtube likes/dislikes are not tallied by Dominion/Smartmatic.

A few thoughts:
I have watched the video of Biden signing the executive orders a number of times from multiple sources and one word comes to mind: feeble. Watch how he fumbles with the pen and the folders. Listen to the tone, strength and cadence of his voice.
You would think that someone would have made an effort to find a mask that fits for the "leader of the (formerly) free world".
It seems odd that all of a sudden, they were in a hurry to clear the room. What just happened?

Reporter to Trump: When will you take full responsibility for your failure to address the Covid pandemic and for the 300,000 deaths under your administration?

Reporter to Biden: What color do you like?

Biden: uhhhhhhhh....

Must've been a somewhat dated interview.

I thought provocation was disallowed under the new Cliff Pennocks rules.

The US surpassed 300,000 Covid deaths on Dec 11, unless of course, one is among the True Believers of the ex-pat American that is living in the Philippines and is running the 'Disarm the Deep State" PAC and who is most likely 'Q'.'Deep State= a cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles running a global child sex-trafficking ring.
Then of course, the whole thing is a fraud, no one ever died of Covid because it's really just the flu and before too much longer (again) the truth is all gonna come out...
