Nice thing is for anybody in Canada (Probably NY and other liberal states) it wont get you in trouble with "prohibited weapon" laws as a pistol crossbow, since its firing a steel ball not a bolt/arrow/ect. It doesn't meet the legal definition, so its a slingshot.
